LOL at Iprometheus' misunderstanding of the article. For a start he sais it is CURRENTLY not a click fest. Plus clickspeed does not = skill, it can help but the winner in a game of CoH, BFME, AOE3 and sometimes in Starcraft and Warcraft 3 (depending on strats) the highest apmer does not always win. Demigod vs Demigod is the most fun, thats all hes saying, although killing an enemy Demigod give exp, gold, removes him from getting exp and gold and gives an opportunity to destroy towers.

High CD on ulti attacks works as long as they are few and far between. Ulti's that are awsome cause of their numbers are ussually boring and are balanced with high CD's, but ultis that are good cause they have an ultimate effect (ex. void, mirana, enigma etc.) need high cd because it makes you hesitent about using the skills.

Lol kestral man, this is why i hate living is australia sometimes, i just missed that whole debate.
Lol, sorry about that. Couldn't resist, but I was definitely baiting. Mea culpa. Sigol, I did read every line. I actually agree with you and Drex that DoTA recipes, while baroque, have added to DoTA gameplay. I also tend to agree with Random_Guy that there is a difference between complex and merely difficult systems, that it is possible to make something deep while

The thing is that the game isnt all being shown in these betas, the only concern there that im worried about at the moment is the one about not doing much, there's heaps of high lvl strat(items, cooperation, flags etc.) but at the tactics level i think its a bit shallow, i dont want a click fest but something that takes a decent bit of skill at the tactical level is required imo.

Lol soz bout the double post, my browser shut down and i didnt think i posted the first
The issue with the graphics is the low polygons and quality. The type of graphics is a design choice, and that's fine. The quality of the graphics is flat out bad. Recipies... well, I know this is a big thing. Yes, they work. However, they are needlessly complicated. This is coming from a fan of the notoriously complicated X series, and I think recipies requir
I may have wrongly formulated my TB is overpower. Mayb e I should have put this as TB is making the game boring with his non stop slow/stun.
I've got nothing against slows and stuns, although many people seem to, as long as they are used sparingly, as ultis or high CD skills. It only becomes a problem if permas start becoming commonplace
When I play TB I may die MAX 1-2 time a game. The rest of the time I keep freezing /slowing my oponent down and your be

The thing is that LoL is staying so close to the DotA model
Guinsoo is creating it, so ya, its gonna be super DotAish
Its true that guinsoo is making it but IceFrog isnt so i think it will stay reasonably close DotA model but i doubt it will be a clone. It will be far away from Demigod so i will probably play both.
Ugh. God, I hate recipies. Hopefully, all those die-hard recipie people will go to LoL and keep the abominations out of DG. <br

I rekon its mostly angle, the game can be played from a low-to-the-floor angle but it is hard to do. The game just doesnt feel as epic, but im not sure if thats not just because its hard to play up close
Quoting Orkimond, reply 18 If ur always winning with, or losing against, tb then u are doing something epicly wrong, he is anything but op. UB is better with is uber ms and nuking skills. The rook is interesting now, he is still really good but his roll has changed a bit, he is no longer the uber hero killer he was, he can push epicly and kills towers really well, also he can hold ground with his towers and hes a tank aswell, but he definetly better in 3v3 than 1v1 <br /
The cartoony graphics of LoL actually appeals to me. It looks somewhat like diablo3 from some screen shots. It also looks to be more hardcore/competetive like dota. Since I already preordered this, I might end up getting both. This for spring 2009. LoL for 2010??
same here, everyone is ragging on the graphics but its the style they're going for, lo poly models with high res textures. I rekon that i will play both games, they both look good and are taking

The problem with TB at the moment is that after lvl 10 he doesnt have enough health to live and his dbs doesnt even compare to any of the other heroes. He's still useful but he's more for support after lvl 10. Wagnards DPS build is essentially the same as mine, but i actually think it isnt as good vs TB as the nuking builds because you can almost bring a TB to 0 hp with one nuke. The nuke builds are useless vs rook and other UB's though so don't go it in any game with either of them.

i hope we get generals, they will be percieved by casual gamers to be the main thing that will end up separating demigod from LoL. Plus i would rather look at the ass of a chick than a guy when playing. also the lack of items in 1-A makes it kinda shallow and im almost over it already.

This will be a direct competitor, they arent the same game but its hard to see how they wont compete when they will be the only full games in this genre. I rekon it looks kinda awsome, im probs gonna buy it and ill probs play both games, or the one that is supported better. Demigod has extra points and it also lack points form DotA that i imagine LoL will take up, it will be interesting to see how things go down

TB is more fragile than the other demigods and he does less dmg. Deep freeze is his main spell, i ussually just go deep freeze, slow aura and attribute bonuses + dmg items for pwnage, but that build is no better (infact its worse) than my UB, rook and regulus builds. UB can get more ms than him when UB is deep frozen! that sais alot. If you play much online with 3v3 and 2v2 you will quickly realise that he is not op at all

The fact that you just want to cancel because you dont like the game and want a full refund seems odd to me, as kryo sais betas are not demos, they are to sort out issues before release. To me it seems that the charge is not for the beta but for reasons of inconvenience and so forth, as Blitz64 said most companies offer a penalty for canceling without propper reason. I'd hope that we would get our money back if the game wasn't released and i have full confidence that stardock
