Seems there's an issue with damage calculations, or maybe just with bows. There was this pioneer which always "resisted" my attacks with a bow when I had 26 attack, then, I fought a darkling which had 13hp and when I hit it for 25 damage with the bow, his hp dropped only by 5hp. I shot him again for another 25 damage, it died. The end of battle report said I did 50 damage and he took 13. Edit: I had a crash and reloaded, hit this same darkling for 25 damage again and he

I don't know if it's a bug with just my game, but in my case, the defense gets calculated backwards and the less units are left in the squad, more defense it gets, making that last unit very tough and making the first few units incredibly easy to take down. This has been observed on AI units, not sure if my units suffer from the same problem as they're all archers with very little armor to test this with.
It would seem that grouped units no longer act as a single large unit and losing members results in a stat change, I am glad this was done, unfortunately, I think there's been a mistake with the math for tactical combat. I haven't tested attack yet from fear of sudden death, but the defense is working backwards. For example, I attack 9 grouped darklings with a total defense of 40. At first everything in my army can hit it, including my sovereign with his attack of 6, then, as the number
I just started my first game after going through the campaign. For the first couple turns nothing was wrong, but now my sovereign wont go into tactical combat, every time I send him to attack something I don't even get the combat window asking me what I want to do, it autoresolves itself in a suboptimal manner, wasting spells when there was no need to. Is this normal, how can I get tactical combat back? TLDR: My sovereign's fights keep autoresolving without giving me a
