I know the feeling. I try to get the weight off but it's stubborn. I'll get there eventually.
Boudica
I've only watched it once but thought it was funny. I will have to try to catch it more often. I do love Tina Fey.
Just don't have any missing dvd's or be late with your books!lol!
That's one great thing about my library. They just insituted a system that emails reminders of your due dates. That has helped me tremendously. That two weeks goes faster than you realize. Plus I can renew them at home on my computer so the fines have gone down considerably. Not that they were ever a huge amount but it doesn't take long for 15 cents a day to add up if you check
I haven't decided yet. I think I am going to just paint my face for work. I did get invited to a Halloween party so I will have to come up with something more fun for that. I'm thinking of going steam punk.
(but then...I'm already hung! lol... )
snark - lolz Okay back on topic. I still feel a sense of community where I live. I think we tend to idealize the "good ol' days" when honestly things weren't all sunshine and roses back then either. I think in general Americans are a friendly, caring bunch. Though I will admit that putting them in a car on the highway brings out the worst in a lot of people. As far as the political, yes I f
I still go to the library. It's one of my favorite things to do. My boys like to go though. There are still some fun things that don't plug in.
The title of your article really caught my attention, I had to read down a bit, but it's good to know info, too?
Thanks for commenting Nitro. [e digicons]:inlove:[/e]
1. What is your greatest fear? Probably being alone though I'm also afraid of heights, bridges and crowds make me uncomfortable. 2. What is the most evil thing anyone could ever do? I think torture is worse than murder at least in the abstract. I know I have seen movies where it would have been a compassionate act to be killed rather than continue to be tortured. 3. Is there anything you would refuse to do in any circumstances?&nbs
Friday Five 1. What is your greatest fear? 2. What is the most evil thing anyone could ever do? 3. Is there anything you would refuse to do in any circumstances? 4. What are you really good at? 5. What are you really bad at?
It's that time of year. The time when everyone becomes a face painter whether it's for Halloween or the big game. I have been face painting for almost a year now and wanted to share a few health and safety tips for those who may be face painting for the first time this year. Do use FDA compliant face paints. Face paints are not actually paints but makeup, cosmetics. My brand is Snazaroo
Are you going to watch beerfest with your kids and recreate oktoberfest at home? That might be a grown up idea - lolz [e digicons]:S[/e]
I love these lists of yours. It reminds you of things to do when the kids say, I'm bored!
yay, it's getting harder now that my boys are getting older. I don't know that my 15 and 12 year olds will be thrilled about going to a pumpkin patch but the haunted house may interest them.
a milk jug skeleton. I am going to bow to your superior craftiness.
lol
I love this month. In Texas, it's finally cool enough to enjoy an entire day outside. Yay! So some fun ideas of things to do in October. 1. Go to a pumpkin patch. It's so much more fun to pick your own pumpkin. http://www.pickyourown.org/ Then you can take it home and carve it. No cheating - getting the stencils, being creative is half the fun. You have to do your own thing. You know w
Thanks shades and dynamaso. I appreciate it. [e digicons][/e]
I'm so glad to see you on JU. Blogger is fine. I have my artsy blog there but it doesn't have the community of JU. Many times I feel like I'm just talking to myself at blogger. Oh and about your article. I agree. I get tired of the simple-minded philosophy that everyone in my party = good, everyone in the other other party = bad. I would love to have a candidate that I could support whole heartedly without reservation. I don't even know i
I was a Hillary supporter that can't and won't support Obama. I am going to vote for McCain this election. Even though I hold some of the liberal views of Democrats, I don't consider myself a Dem. anymore. I am now registered independent. I had said for a long time that McCain was one Republican that I could stomache voting for.
Thanks Karma. We got it figured out last night. My computer screen died and I got a hand me down that's quite ghetto. It doesn't show the whole screen without some major manipulation. It isn't an issue most of the time but when you can't see the continue button - it is an issue - lol.
I'll bet your son won't have any problem figuring that out, lol.
Nope, he's already tried. We're having computer issues - I believe. It can't be operator error - it has to be the computers fault. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]
Don't be so hard on yourself. What you're doing is IMPOSSIBLE to do perfect, or even well...I'd set the bar at getting through it alive, and let some of the other things slide.
Right now I'm ready to scream because I can't download music onto my son's new mp3 player - his birthday present.
You know what? One day, when they're men, and they look back with understanding, they'll see how hard it is for you and how you are doing the best you can.
&
LOL - nice recap
The last couple weeks have been lovely though. I've been playing out there right alongside my kids & all the other kids on the street as the temperature has been letting up, and it's still not too cold yet.
This time of year is the best for outdoor activities. You can actually breathe. It's so nice. Too bad it can't be this way all year.
Well I can't really say because I fell asleep and only caught the very beginning of the debate. My semi-lucid impression is that it annoyed me when Obama called McCain - John. I don't know why - it just did.
This sort of thing is the ONLY reason I remain in JU lately. Through all the changes we've still managed to maintain some sense of community, and when one of us is in real trouble many others are willing to come through and be of assistance.
I'm glad you're still here. I do miss the regulars when they leave.
You're never completely alone. I know it feels that way sometimes but you're not. Try to hang on to that.
I guess I should be
But it ISN'T Nikki she's Tracy.
Nikki/Tracy needs to go. Agree?
Didn't Sylar kill him last season?
I guess I need to go watch the recap online to fill in all of the blanks. I obviously missed the last few shows of the second season.
My whole life is insecurity. I find myself second guessing every decision I make or have made. It's not a healthy way to live but I guess you can't change what you don't acknowledge.
