Hugh and Hillary Rodham should have the right to marry each other?
Ack! okay two human beings, over the age of 18, who are NOT related to each other should have the right to marry if they choose.

We have a tendency to think the only purpose of a college education is to get a high paying job. Really the point of getting a college education should be to be educated. No, I don't think it's wasted but I do think that educated stay-at-home mom's might want to consider working part time to keep their skills current. I wish that I would have at least worked a couple of days a week even while my boys were little. Of course, that's just a generalization because I d
I would propose a peace plan for the Arab-Israeli conflict in which I state that both Jews and Arabs are of equal value and that both Arab and Jewish refugees as groups should be compensated equally by the opposite side.
This sounds like a good plan to me, leauki.

Don't feel alone. I have had these issues with my boys too. Well not quite the same but they were looking for topless photos. At the ages of 12 and 14. I told them that I put a key logger on the computer that shows me exactly what they do and that stopped it at home. My concern now is that they will be trying to look at it at friends houses etc. I didn't lose it. I just told them that I knew what they were looking at and searching for.&nbs
All reality TV - can die. Biggest loser I can dig on because it is a good thing really. Oh and to possibly shatter a few hearts? The Hills is NOT reality TV. It's as fake as wrestling.
Sorry, I still love Amazing Race. Oh and Project Runway which I miss so much because I don't have cable anymore. And Top Chef is a good one too. I don't go for the Big Brother, Survivor, Bret Michaels and Flava Flav dating shows etc. but there are a few good reality shows
No, he has it right. WHen it comes right down to it, no one has this right. You may love Angellina Jolie, but you do not have the right to marry her, only the opportunity. If she agrees.
So you're telling me that I can't kidnap the Rock and make him my husband? Darn. [e digicons] Okay, let's say two human beings, over the age of 18, should have the right to marry each other if they choose.
Instead of throwing money and food stamps at people mindlessly, I would REQUIRE that they choose some sort of vocational or professional program they are interested in, and I would require that they go through a financial responsibility course. It's stupid to throw money at people and just let them have it.
Do you realize that many food stamp recipients ARE working. They are the working poor and struggle to feed their families. Would you require a financial
No...it's not the same argument....the argument then was one of race, something that is unchangeable.....Interracial marriages were still a union between a man and a woman. Again, you're confusing homosexuality (sexual behavior) with race, (an innate characteristic.) Sexual behavior is not on the same plane as race.
I see homosexuality as an innate characteristic not a chosen behavior.
excuse me, let me rephrase, ask your gay friends when they chos
I have a problem with the "argument" that gay marriage is an "equal" right. Homosexuals already have equal rights. They, like heterosexuals, can marry an individual of the opposite sex. The fact that they don't want to do that doesn't change the fact that they have the same rights as heterosexuals.
I think you got it completely wrong here. They should have the right to marry the person they love. Let's live in bizarro world where homosexuality is the norm.&nb

1. Fix the economy. I don't know how but it seems like that should be the President's number one priority right now. 2. Repeal don't ask, don't tell. Allow gays to serve openly. 3. Stop the ICE workplace raids and actually fine or criminally charge the employers who hire undocumented workers. The lopsided enforcement has gone on long enough. Streamline the immigration process. It should not take so long or cos

Joe the plumber is not about one man. He is a symbol of small business owners who will struggle with a tax increase. I really think it is horrible that because this man actually made a substantive point, he is now the target of a smear campaign. I guess only the lilly white can ever question a political candidate now. There should be a complete background check before a citizen asks a question of a candidate to make sure that they will hold up to the scrutin
Next year, you should get someone to come and take some pictures of the kids for you.
My helper took some photos but most of them came out pretty blurry. I do take pictures when I paint when I have permission so I should have enough to have a small gallery on my website.
I can't believe someone was pawing through your stuff. I HATE when people paw through without asking. I'm happy to show people stuff though. You have so much patience not to

Thanks for the encouragment, Kellie. I have been leaving my cards at restaurants and at jump extreme (bounce house) and mavericks (a gymnastics place) and a local museum. Nothing has come of it yet but I'm still hopeful. I think I will drop one off at the roller rink. We don't even have a bowling alley in my podunk town but maybe I could leave some at the bowling alleys in FW.

Today I volunteered to face paint at the Libraryfest. Yes, I admit that it was a bit self-serving because I am hoping to get some paid jobs as a result of the business cards that I handed out. Still, I was there for four hours, using my own supplies, happily painting all of the kiddos I could. The kids were wonderful. Most of them are so sweet and happy. The smiles when they look in the mirror are priceless. It just tickles me when they tell me how

I have been reading a lot lately and just wanted to share my thoughts on a few books I've recently read. "Belle Weather, Mostly Sunny with a Chance of Scattered Hissy Fits" by Celia Rivenbark - Hillarious stories by the southern female Dave Barry. I think I will have to look for her other books now. "A Fatal Waltz" by Tasha Alexand

I have had to deal with these issues too. It was one boy, a neighbor. I spoke to his mother and it stopped - for a while. It was mostly just name calling but just really mean. It's not an easy situation. I would definately document all incidents, who, what, where, when etc. I believe the school does have a responsibility to intervene and come down hard on the bullies. It should not be excused or overlooked but severely punished.

Warning the consumption of alchohol may make you think you have mystical kung fu powers resulting in you getting your ass kicked. I'm not tailgating. I'm kissing ass. Don't meddle in the affairs of dragons for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup. I'm marching to a different accordion. The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese.

I am working for a car dealer and don't feel that the salesmen I work with are predatory. It is tough times for dealerships and salesmen. They definately want to get you in a vehicle. Generally, people who come to the dealership WANT to buy a car. I will agree that in general you can usually secure the best price through internet sales. I will also say that I think the philosophy of giving yourself a waiting period before the purchase is an excellent idea.

I see a hate crime as being a crime that affects the larger community by creating a culture of fear that hurts more than just the victim. Lynching was a hate crime. Yes, there ultimately was one victim but the crime is a way to oppress and subjugate an entire community. Matthew Shepherd's murder was a hate crime. Matthew Shepherd was the ultimate victim but it also instills fear in the larger community. As far as your example, I believe if they were targeting th
