Oh ya it can be done.. but if i have to contact microsoft directly to do it I don't wanna deal with it. Not to mention its ethically wrong.
I never had to contact Microsoft. To be honest, I had expected the activation to fail the first time I tried an upgrade, so I had a second OEM license ready--but it worked, so I kept using the origional key. I guess you could say that it was ethically wrong behavior. Have yo
Ya i didn't exactly explain myself well. The only version of windows 7 i could afford would be an OEM version.. which would leave me screwed the first time i upgraded my mobo. (not to mention i would have to reregister my version after things like processor upgrades/ or reconfiguring my system etc)
In my experience with Windows Vista over the course of a few years, I was able to activate the OEM license across thre
The desktop computer sitting next to me on my desk has two (2) USB 3.0 ports in it. I built this computer last fall. I had no trouble at all getting my hands on a motherboard supporting the USB 3.0 standard. If you are still convinced that you are correct, then explain to me why USB 3.0 appears in the tech specs of this alienware

She's looking for something as realistic as possible--I don't think she'll be satisfied with any of the flash games. Thanks for all of your suggestions so far everyone! I honestly didn't expect to get any responses :-)

Hey guys (and ladies), My wife is a hardcore PC gamer and ah...cake maker....and she has asked me to find her some sort of cake simulator for the PC. Or maybe a baking simulator. I figure if they make earth mover sims there's gotta be a baking sim out there. Right? Matthew
My friend and i are looking for a new game to play, we both love strat games, fps, rpgs, whatever. We recently burned through starcraft2, borderlands and are now sort of playing mount and blade: warband in tandem. We would love to find something similar in vein to Borderlands, but really anything similar to those games would be awesome. Thanks!
Well, here's what I think is REALLY bad: I read many forums, I see many "disapointed" or almost "heartbreaking" posts about SC2. Then it stops. That is really bad, because, peoeple are just trying it; purging, and moving on. Not even taking the time to troll-post or ream out the devs. They just are totally moving on. We should send Chris a bottle of Jack Daniels and a little silver trophy with "Nice Try" engraved.
Too early to tell, my fr

Just run Diplomacy and forget about all the other versions. Diplomacy contains all of the features of vanilla Sins, Entrenchment, and of course Diplomacy. If you want them all bundled into one, you could always buy Trinity, but I'm not sure why you'd want to do that if you've purchased all the expansion packs anyway. Hope this helps!

The best thing about SupCom 2 is that the UI doesn't take up a third of the screen. That factor alone was enough to keep me from playing SupCom 1 for very long. So for someone that has not really played the first game in full, this second game is fantastic. No, I don't feel like the game is breaking any new ground in the genre, but I had heaps of fun playing the demo. I'm definitely getting a copy for myself--and because the gameplay is familiar and intuitive, my wife will be playin

I'm interested, but I don't spend a whole lot of time thinking about games that won't come out for another few years. Once they announce a release date, THEN I'll pay more attention. Tell you what runs really well on low-end machines, if you're looking for a Diablo-type fix: Torchlight . Great game! You can download it directly from the developer's web site: http://www.torchlightgame.com/ Cheers, mp
Modifying the CSS styles doesn't help, unfortunately. Here's an example of what I'm talking about. This is precisely the reason why I disable ClearType on every computer that I use. I only spent a few brief moments poking around in their forums this morning looking for a fix, but I'

I gave the new Steam UI a shot this morning and found it to be a complete mess. Not only did they take away the small icons in the games browser window, but all the text in the entire UI is now being anti-aliased, despite me having ClearType disabled in Windows 7. I know they are now using a WebKit based rendering engine for the client and in-game overlay web browsing components (replacing Internet Explorer--something I wish Stardock would do as well), but there is no way

If the service really works, I do indeed see things changing, very soon. mp

I have purchased a lot of really bad PC games in the past 15 years, but I'll just name some of my biggest disapointments that I can name off the top of my head: Age of Conan After all the hype, this game was an enormous disappointment in just about every respect. I'll never forgive myself for purchasing the Collector's Edition. The only
