Interesitng...... looks like a lot of data is still hidden on that screen: where does it show the techs unlocked? WILL techs be unlocked? I am also anxious to know if RNGs play any role in what you get, and how RP's are actually generated. Overall, this screenshot is maddeningly titillating [e digicons]:P[/e] .
You are still VASTLY overestimating the complexity of a system like this. How many unique swords can you think of? And I mean really unique, that have features that are not shared with any other swords? You will not find many. Greatswords, longswords, short swords, broadswords, claymores, spatha, gladius... All of these are more or less the same sword. They all share the same shape, differing only in size. If you took all those variants listed above and used the Elemental it
Indeed. Thanks for all the help! Currently, I am bogged down in non-code modding of GC2, but once Metroid: Seeds Of The Species Wars is done, I will most likely look into trying again.
Dude, the real problem is that simple nudity isn't about sex, it's about comfort and/or practicality.
However, the vast majority of people do assosciate nudty with sex, and sex with nudity. I HIGHLY doubt that Denryu had the women's comfort in mind when (s)he derailed the thread, and considering some 8,000 years of tradition, I would say that, yes, it was derailed by sex.
Your avatar is too small. Mine is large enough to be understood. And the Elders ( not Eldar) aren't from any planet that exists in this universe: they live in an the alternate dimension that seperates parallel universes.
I keep saying that this whole argument is pretty much irrelevent. Even if you could make that many sowrds etc. (let's remember that you would need the same level of "density" for ALL types of weapon), running a simulation that intense would suck up an increadible amount of processing power and virtual memory, crashing the game on anything but the very fastest rigs.
Alternately you could make the rose bush 1 foot tall and 60 feet wide. Even harder to cross and nowhere to hide!
Although that might deter cavalry and weaker units, if your legs are covetred in armor it won't be too big of a deal. Might slow you down a bit, but in the end you could wade through it w/o damage. I would say that a bush needs to be at least 4 feet tall to have any universal "stopping" power.
Over all, if the devs have time and money, this would be a pretty standard MP pack. With the demigod fiasco, however, they miiiight be a tad wary of anything too involved, so I guess we will have to wait and see.... but there are no glaring technical/gameplay issues with it. One more thing: having never played WoW or RuneScape (are they even in RuneScape?), I have little idea about what actual Guilds look like. However, what you refer to as guilds STRONGLY remind me of empires from t
Awwww........ another thread derailed by sex............ I guess prudes are a dying breed......... although that was sort of inevitible.........
nipple... gate? Is that like a stargate but across nipples rather than stars? (I'd expect a porno to be named that) To what does this name refer, and when was it dubbed that name?
Yes, I was referring to your little ESRB-bash. The name was actually created (by David Letterman possibly, but I don't know for sure) to describe the Janet Jackson Wardrobe Malfunction mess: a fusion of "nipple" due to the........ erm......... subject matter, and the Watergate scandal, due to the ep
Also, I fear that if they went down that route, when the game finally did come out it would be a titanic "virtual memory suck bomb" that would crash every non-supercomuter you played it on. Although of course, by the time the devs (and their descendants, most likely!) finish making 300 sowrds, 300 bows, 300 axes, etc., computers will probably have a couple googolbytes of virtual memory each [e digicons]:P[/e]
A lot of Elemental will be in something resembling plain-text, and there will be numerous editors, so unless you want to do somethimg radical like add a mirror world or redo the AI, you probably won't have to "code" @ all....
Now, now.... let's not relive "nipplegate" yet again......
Not to mention the devleopment time to create all those weapons and balance them.
Or, for that matter, the processing power needed to handle all of that info in a battle with a few thousand individual units.
I disagree that evil channelers could not use hedge walls: imagine the Grey Willow of LOTR, but wrapped around your city!
I mistakenly read 'porno-ho'.
That says. A lot.
I'm 15, and my high school has one mid-level CS course, which I am taking this year now that all the required courses are out of the way. I started trying to learn when I was maybe 10 or so, though...
I did. None of them were able to hold my interest for very long, and eventually the hobby became too expensive to continue. Picked up the attempt a few times, but was too busy with school, life, gaming, etc. to make much headway. I imagine if I was really committed to it, I would have learned by now [e digicons];P[/e] . My parents got me the original books after I expressed an interest.
Might I ingquire your methods for trying to teach yourself?
Books my parents get me for Christmas when they don't want to buy game consoles.
I am assuming he meant "pro-homo", because that's the only thing that at least looks like it might make sense.
It's a black square. Im I mentally retarded?
Your avatar is unintelligible. EDIT: plus, it CAN'T be older than any fictional civilization, because the Elder Sentinels existed before time.
I for one see the firewall as a kind of a double-edged spell you can cast either on yourself or enemies, with the caveat that only the caster can remove it w/o significant effort: a ring of fire around a city makes an EXCELLENT siege-on-demand.
I also want to thank the Elemental devs for not wasting their time thinking about Twitter very much, and to share a news link with other folks who are also beyond ready to see Twitter fritter away into the dustbin of old fads.
Aaahhhhh..... good to see I'm not alone.... Twitter has its place, and I imagine it will stay useful for things like campeigns, dev journals, and nonviolent Middle Eatsern revolutions, but I agree: a lot of the "twits" as they are becoming known,
Exactly. Oh, wait..... oops.Ahh well, at least we're on the same page [e digicons]:P[/e] .
