Granted. But then the Minutemen try to overthrow the government because they (the government) are now giving jobs to dark-skinned people. I wish those cough drops would hurry up and work.
Not really, you just continue to research the same thing over and over again. So no need to get something new, the "new" behavior are gained before in the tech tree.
Exactly. But to me it seemed like he was talking about a system where you get an infinite amouint of unique techs.

You remeber your incorruptible wish. But you die of an out-of-control tapeworm infection before you can type it into the forum. I wish my Wii would stop making that strange rattling noise whenevrr I put a CD in it.

He has a wish you can coorupt. But you get typer's block and can't think of a way to corrupt it. I wish my mother would get rid of that hideous sculpture in the living room.

Well, this will also be one of the easiest things to mod, so we should have alternate names proliferating very rapidly.

Why not start another one? The first sort of devolved into Koda0 and a few other people on quick-post, but hopefully this one won't. I wish my haloween display would install itself without human intervenmtion every year, and take itself down before my mom could get to it on November 1.

Well, I'm equally apathetic about chemical/industrial pollutants, but magical pollution..... [e digicons]}:)[/e] think about this: What if mana, essance, and all that good stuff don't just vanish after a spell is cast, but are actually released into the environment, and can, for example, cause low-level wierd stuff (floating stones, foxfire, cold spots, and the like) in areas where there's been a lot of magic used.
But when you have researched the mithirl ? When you have reach the "end" of the tech, you can still continue to research.
The problem with this system is this: You would need an infinite amount of "new stuff". Fine. But all of that new stuff needs to be created before hand (i.e. you can't auto-generate more whenever you run out). Since the stuff requirement is infinite, that also means creation time is infinite. Since players and coders sort of need<
(long post)
I get where you're coming from here, and I agree with you. However, remember that complexity should be implimented from the ideda of what would be fun , as opposed to what would be realistic, then "justified" through lore to make it realistic. I just don't think that maintaining a male/female ratio identical to real life would be that fun (especially at an abstracted city-based level). And the good thing is, you don't really
