I'm assuming (hoping) that this is just the "skeleton" system that will be improved on later..... I for one would prefer a system in which the factions have varied and customizeable succession systems.

I would like a few more numbers/icons in all that wonderful white space around them: A number that says how long it will take to build the road to the city. Some sort of symbol that appears if the city is connected INDIRECTLY to the city who you're building the road from (i.e. through another city).
