Actually, I think that if you want to linearly compare the two, the Borg are actually more on par with the Ing, as opposed to the Pirates. But I would sure like to see the Klingons go up against the GFMC: "WROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!" *CLANG* (sound of Bat'leth shattering into a million pieces against Jovian steel.) "Hey, knock it off!" *pop* *splat* As you can probably guess, I don't really like Klingons......

I hate borders. They made my life miserable in civ4, and I do not want to see them in elemental. I would like the red line to be the indicator of your essence-powered land.

I would hold off on considering essence levels until we knew more about if and how it will come back.

Well, in that screenshot of Kitkun's, the roads do look like they meander a little...

Fascinating. Wonder if there will be prereqs and unlockable techs?

Yeah, that would be nice. Of course, there is something to be said for rewarding someone for beating the whole thing by not requiring them to spen any more resources on research in order to stay tech-competitive...

Bigger is genearlly better. I always hated "running out" of research.... even though it was a harbinger of impending victory!
I'd love to see a reference. I'm not saying it's not true, mind you, since I've been thinking in the same paths before - I just have a casual interest in mysticism and alchemy.
Actually, I got that data from the "Intro & Background" section of my CliffsNotes: Romeo and Juliet book. Was the only required reading I ever found intetresting. [e digicons]:P[/e]
The tower obviously has some magical property, but why are there columns that appear to have been knocked over and/or damaged around it? The yellow flowers around it look a little flat, too.
That is an Element crystal. I THINK it's an air crystal, but it might be earth as well.... the columns are knocked over because it is an ancient artifact from before the Cateclysm.
Agreed. Looks like the remains of a city where the fertile land has turned into a deser

Actually, I realise I was actually thinking of a sickle, not a scythe. But, then again, both would look really cool...

Is that guy on the bottom me? I don't look at ALL like that. Actually, I look more like the guy in the top right... same glasses.
