There aren't any known issues with frame rate or visual quality like you are describing. I don't have a specific suggestion for you but please look at the Ashes Troubleshooting guide: https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/default_import/Knowledgebase/Article/View/5
This is a known (annoying!) issue that should be fixed in an upcoming update.

Valve recently added support for DirectX 12 which is crashing Ashes but you mentioned this occurs in DX11 as well. Off the top of my head I can't think of anything else. Please open a support ticket: https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/default_import/Tickets/Submit
Adding more matchmaking options would dilute the player pool too much. We will evaluate adding these after release.
Is it known that FreeSync under DX12 doesn't work and that it does work with DX11?
Yes. This is currently a limitation of DirectX 12's mGPU support.
I don't have much to add but double check Crossfire is (still) disabled. It is incompatible with DirectX 12 mGPU. It sounds like you've done this but just in case!
Because Ashes uses lots of new code in Windows and your GPU drivers it can uncover problems with overlocking that were previously unseen. Please return your system to stock and see if the problem persists.

From your description I'm not sure if this applies but just in case: you likely need to have launched GalCiv3 at least once while online since purchasing the DLC to allow offline mode in Steam. If that doesn't help you please open a ticket with Support.
Thanks for the suggestions! GalCiv3 is using your Steam or GOG friends list. We're working on sending friend invites from within the game. I agree that searching for your friends (with fuzzy matching) as the first results would be helpful. One thing you can do until we get this implemented: Metaverse -> Ladders -> Overall, Overall, Friends. From there you can easily click on your friends' names to view their stats and "Ladders" again to go back. An
I hear it's very swampy there. Lots of alligator analogs too.
There is a formula used to calculate your overall score which is more complex than simply adding all of your individual scores together. This overall scoring method was updated with Sorcerer King v1.4 which resulted in a different overall score for some people.
Interesting. I am ranked 1,157th. It only tracks the games I did to unlock achievements so far. I guess because most of the time I don't play until I hit the victory screen, only until it is impossible for the ai to recover, then I start a new game.
Yes, only completed games are scored and tracked.
Also, if you complete the same game multiple times (by loading and completing the game again) then your highest scoring game will be the default. Your other attempts will be selectable from the "Completions:" dropdown. You can see an example here . -Adrian
