I didn't buy the game when it came out, so I'll be getting the discounted version, honestly though I'd rather pay for the game because I'm supporting SD and the people it employ's, I'm probably one of many people who think like this. I'd rather pay and support the company that way they can bring us an even better game/games in the future.

Hmmm yeah I noticed that similiar tune, they made it fantasy sounding though... I actually like it's new tune as compared to the sci fi sounding one of GalCiv2
If you bought the game and got the retail box version like I did, what came with it was a music track CD. One of the tracks in particular is titled War Of Magic, I like this one due to it's upbeat and energetic tune. So guys and gals? what's your favorite or favorites?

Now I don't know if imbuing the channeler spell is perm or not but it's an enchantment like all others and in previous games I was able to cancel that enchantment. I cast this enchantment on two champs who were in the wild after I hired them, both administrators and wanted to get them out of harms way asap. another thing that was brought up in another thread... healing... when you get in late game you have units that have a hundred even several hundred HP and that takes a while to heal... they either to need to up the heal amount per turn or make a structure that ups the healing amount.
Octomom... rofl one issue, Dragons are suppose to lay clutches of eggs, so a dozen or so eggs is normal for a mythical reptile like creature that can breath fire and have control over magic :P
Two handed swords in general also can cut through Plate Mail. Hand and Half swords (bastard swords) can push into plate mail, bastard swords were more meant for penetration and thrusting instead of slicing, I would know I own a bastard sword and they are quite heavy swords.

I don't use the cloth map, sure things go slightly slower... but... at least I get to see all the nice details and what not. Some goody huts don't show up via the cloth map therefore you have to move in to see them.

I agree with what Xia is saying... I mean really... you wouldn't see Blizzard Entertainment or EA giving away free games and ALSO advocating to FIX a game they screwed up.
