gotta remember of course if things get fixed in FE and they don't make the same mistakes, those of us who still will be playing EWOM might be seeing some cross over changes made from FE. For those of us who like EWOM we can hope the best that we do see changes that are successful and work well in FE to make it back into the other game.

[quote who="Trojasmic" reply="140" id="2926170"] Quoting Lord Xia, reply 137Lol, okay, I was just nosing around the website, and I saw this little statement that made me giggle. "The Kingdoms of the West are dominated by the factions of men. While of one species, each faction is substantially different from one another in terms of culture, capability, and philosophy." I think we should add "Culture, Capability and Philosophy = nation co

hmmm I just thought of spell, I'd love to see more spells that take the elemental shards into affect. Like spells that affect tactical battles but you cast them before hand before going into battle. Like how you cast the spell that gives life to the land if your Kingdom and thus gain a bonus or if you cast the Desolate spell which favors Empire. Idea here is to make use of the elemental shards you have in possession, a lot of them I've seen don't have many pre-battle affec

It was a custom setup faction, though I used the elves as a template. I've sense deleted it and reverted back to the old files for the elves. As for the version... I am unsure now it was a about a month ago since then so I could have been on 1.1 or one of the beta builds.

well if all things go down hill SD can just pull the plug and cancel the deal and pull all it's games off Impulse. I'm pretty sure there's a bit of a contract going on between SD and Gamestop that Gamestop has to follow. Just pure speculation of course.

do gotta remember... scripting is a HUGE pain in the ass... No I have no idea how to script... but I know enough about it after spending a lot of time playing a game that has oodles and oodles of scripts. X3: Terran Conflict.

still got 7 months to go before they plan on releasing the game, it's entirely up to the developers if they want to shed some light on it. If not so be it, maybe they wanna keep stuff under wraps for now and not give us too much info. The more info and stuff they give us the more we will want it and demand it. I've seen it happen when people start making mods that are extremely popular

that's what happens when developers have a good nose for bugs and other problems, it takes longer to release a patch. As has been stated before... I'd rather have as many bugs and problems squashed before they release it.

[quote who="Derek Paxton" reply="6" id="2923565"] I'm not 100% happy with the state of memory utilization in WoM. But the developers have been working hard on fixing memory issues. I wish it was one memory issue that we could fix and everything would be great. But instead we fix individual memory leaks which may account for a few meg each. The longer we work the smaller and smaller memory leaks we find (we can profile and see where memo
