Too many tiles for missionary hall!
Heavenfall
I'd prefer if it was different. They're the two buildings that are the most likely to be in the same city.
Oh well who uses catapults anyway! I'll fix in next release. I'm aware that the rain of stone and some of the non-spellbook spells are broken. However, It's a real big job to go through them all and change to appropriate min/max value and I just don't feel up to the task. It's one of those things very likely to get fixed very soon.
Irrigation system. Feedback? (edit: made some of the trees bigger)
No, I just stole the credit for the fix. [e digicons]:D[/e]
There is a doubling issue with improvements. Basically, all gamemodifiers are always kept from the core file, even if you modify the type in a new file. Therefore, if you want to reduce the cost of food by 1 to 0, you should set the food cost to -1 to counter the 1 found in the core file. All other gamemodifiers should be deleted from your own file.
Yes, it really works. I think I'm going to have a crack at the irrigation system, I'm not getting anywhere with the water shard.
The ways of the tile editor are many and mysterious indeed. Would you like to "release" the study?
It's a known bug reported back in beta where auto-exploring units will fail to move and cause the problem. Tab through your units, find the autoexploring ones, move them, and the turn will automatically end. There may be other reasons for your bug, but this is what I have.
Players should be aware that in 1.08b, all predesigned sovereigns received a free upgrade to 3 combat speed. This did NOT apply to custom sovereigns. You will either need to re-make your sovereign, or update the file found in users/user_name/my documents/my games/elemtanl/units
There we go,
HF108_mechanic_Bowfix.xml - fixes the broken bow mechanic (thanks harpo99999 and Capn Darwin)
Pulled the old file before anyone downloaded, so just get 3.1 and the bowfix is included.
Congrats getting you Mod added to the game in the 1.08 patch Truly excellent work.
I think you forgot to remove some mods =)
Last bump.
Not as far as I know.
Uploaded 3.1 Removed the sovereign fixes from HF108_unittype_EmpireSovereignsAndSentinel.xml. Updated HF108_item_legendaryplatecuirass.xml and HF108_item_helmsforthefallen.xml to reflect new items in-game. Also new file
HF108_unittype_Icelord.xml - Adds Iceblast ability to the Icelord, and lowers the Icelord's attack from 61 to 37.
@Robert I couldn't make it work. I'll see if I can fix it for next release
I love all 3. Kalin I like the slightly discrete design for the fire shard. This is (wood) elves after all. fairwater that's an excellent Tower of Ereog, if you ask me. Jhaari well done on the significant adjustment to make it look more "in-line" with other buildings.
Unfortunately, raceconfigs are the excemption. Edit: Actually, I'm lying. I haven't tested many others. So I really have no idea.
They SHOULD check individually, but I get the very distinct feeling that they don't.
Havenfall, how do you feel about replacing hedge-wall with desert wall? Its color may be a better frame for the shard. Or it may end up looking horrible. Either, or
It did... I don't like this tile at all, I think I'm gonna throw it out and start fresh.
I started the water shrine with good intentions, but I think maybe it ended up too boring. All the stonework is straight up copied from the kingdom tile, but I removed buildings and walls and replaced with forests and hedges. @fairwater very nice! I like we're you're going with the design.
Wait... are those darklings?
I'm guessing there's some block that ensures the content is available only to those with the unlock codes.
I've decided to remove the following quote from the original post: "It also means that you should stay away from unnatural-looking stones, like stone walls." First, oddrheia has convinced me unnatural stone can still look elven. Second, it doesn't make much sense when you're building a CITY .
Any chance you could lend me the 3d file? I could put it in-game, would save you the trouble of doing the same.
*thumbs up* @fairwater I think if you add some small effects like swirly things around the tower, it would look great as a tower of ereog. In my opinion, there might be a problem with the big tree not looking very good in-game. If possible, do you think you could size it down, and place several trees instead? Also, I've put myself down for the water shard building.
