I'd give it the disadvantage of losing intelligence, but I'm afraid the AI might end up outside the boundaries of spacetime.

Oh, I wouldn't go that far. But the gameworld could use a lot more life. Events are a great way to do that, I think.
Pedestrians are no longer displayed in-game, so I guess it makes sense that they aren't in the tile editor either.
I've had other buildings break population as well.
In your documents/my games/elemental you can find the prefs.ini file. Change DisableZoomLimit=0 to DisableZoomLimit=1
Uploaded 3.1.0 which added an event that can trigger above 1500 total population, titled Dstaurmim, the Undying. The following text is also found when the event pops up: edited out. Some prefer the surprise.
This mod now REQUIRES that you first install the After the War mod
This mod adds hundreds and hundreds of new items: weapons, armorpieces, cloaks, mounts, shields and so on. They have been automatically generated with random magical properties. These items are occasionally available from notable locations, but the best source is from dungeons .
Simultaneous damage is a quick-fix for a rubbish tactical AI. It also fixes the issue of near-godlike heroes that don't oneshot units and get away without a scratch. And, as jecjackal says, it is also an excellent solution to every unit being a glass cannon since now every unit can counter-attack.
Given Frogboy's statements about FE beta being about a month away, and saying that noone would play E:wom after FE was finished, I'm going to "suspend" this mod. And by that I mean I'm going to build it for FE instead, when the time is appropriate. Of course, it may be completely redundant, but time will tell.
Never dead was the game I didn't remember the name of.
I welcome it, E:Wom is too focused on citybuilding and the strategic nature for my taste. More RPG elements and a better tactical combat will only make the game better.
No, not Asura's wrath. This was more futuristic and demon-focused.
heavenfall, when are you going to start cranking out "unofficial" beta patches? with your elite modding skillz, you should be able to fix a few beta bugs for us right?
When the bugs are on a level I can fix. For example in 1.2b, there were hardcoded problems with population handling I couldn't fix. Since Derek Paxton joined ze team, xml bugs have been weeded out to almost none.
Not at the moment, but they can spawn monsters on top of them when the goodiehut spawns (not when it is used) (although this is not used in vanilla). Quests can, of course, initiate encounters.
That last tank video just looks crazy impressive. Talk about on rails though.
awwwww yeeaaah.
I too noticed the lack of originality. I am not impressed in the least by the Wii U, especially after the announcement that each station would only support one control (while supporting other types of controls at the same time, like the old wii controller). Edit : Apparently that may not be true, see below. With that said, the following titles in particular I thought looked extremely high-quality: Bf3, From Dust, Prey 2. There was also an action-ori
Simultaneous damage might be very interesting if it was properly applied to the following modifiers as well (beyond first strike and first strike counters). (I'm using counter-attack below as a description of the attack the defender performs in a simultaneous combat situation) UnitStat_CounterattackMultiplier - currently a unitstat that modifies the counterattack damage from the unit. Ie, the counter-attack is different from the sta
If I were you, Dhraconus, I'd wait for 1.3 to be released as non-beta. It looks to be a major improvement of the game. Their aim is to make that happen hopefully before july. Edit: If you download 1.2a (the current non-beta) you'll find a fairly well-balanced mostly bug-free game. The AI can be quite strong in a strategic environment, but is still exceptionally poor in tactical combat. In my opinion, a large part of the difficulty fighting against the AI still comes from the A
If you don't want to bother reporting errors, you won't have a bug-free game. You are literally getting upset over your own failure.

I reinstalled a 1.2a version of the game, and the problem is present there as well.
About once every minute or so the game will freeze for 5-10 seconds, and then continue as normal. Dxdiag: http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=78FDBeEi Video capture of the problem (occurs around 39 seconds in). Note that this is a real-time capture, ie this is exactly how I see the game (I added white text "freeze" so you see where and how the issue is). Thi
