Wohooo lava/metal planets!
Heavenfall
I'll keep that in mind. Enjoy!
Try copying over TerrainTypes.xml again. Other than that, I don't know what's wrong - maybe a botched installation of the game. If you feel like it, you could try reinstalling FE. Or you can always play without that part.
I think this makes perfect sense, although they could have made the announcements better. This isn't building in "inferiority" in a product, it is getting companies to help pay for a product to end up in your home. I think (as a consumer) that this is a step forward, not back. What if they sold computer games in the future, one version with ads and another without? I'd be game for that, if there was full disclosure on how the ads appear and it didn't
I don't know, I think you did. Otherwise it would work. [e digicons][/e] Running a 64-bit computer with 4gb? Put the mods in the right folders - what folders?
Make sure you follow the installation instructions on the wiki.
Get the Enchanters faction trait
And always retreat to the best come-back ever if someone calls you out on your bullshit: "I was being ironic/sarcastic"
Well I like your idea. It can add a lot of flavour that the whole random availability of shards could never match. As a side note, yesterday I came across this article. How awesome would it be to have themed armies like you see in there? They could be an option if you combine an elemental allegiance with a focus on summoning and/or enchanting units.
Themed armies will be a core feature of unique units for the stormworld m
Well both the workshop and the campaign are currently unavailable so those are pretty big things to hold back on. Hopefully they've been polished for release.
Only rivermod uses it, the others don't.
In that case it is probably missing some tiles that they have in their download blob.
I haven't done anything to Swampterrain, which means it's either a vanilla issue OR my extra terrains is causing a memory issue. I'll keep an eye on it.
High hopes for beta 5! But cautious that it is happening so soon...
Yes. If you're modding the installation directory then it is best to put it in coreunitstats.xml.
You also need to define the unitstat like in CoreUnitStats.xml. But other than that, yeah, it's that easy. You can read the same unitstats in strategic as in tactical afaik.
Okay so what you want is to do something like the summoner background which has this
Player AbilityBonus &n
It looks ever so slightly AA-ed. Really, I can hardly notice when I look at the side-to-side as it is. But then, I have poor eyesight and play without glasses so that's like my own layer of blur right there.
I was sure I reported this before but I can't find it. When I do a quest and enter a battle as part of that quest, I then return to the strategic map. When I do so, the army on that tile will have an icon above it signifying that there are multiple armies on that tile. As soon as I move the army the icon disappears. Likely this occurs as you are literally spawning an enemy army on top of the army, which causes the icon to appear. It is then not removed prope
One more thing, unit design traits don't show up in the tech tree. Could do with something like this https://dl.dropbox.com/u/32649007/FallenEnchantress_1347189456.jpg and hovering over it would give description and production cost.
It's a proposal to re-design the magic system in a very different way and I see no actual benefit to it - it wouldn't make the game more fun to play. A big part now is replayability from each game - champions and shards are random. You can't go into the game expecting to dominate one type of magic. That's good. And you want to take it away.
Clearly they've decided to scrap the entire original design of FE and turn it into a Dwarf Fortress clone. I look forward to many hours of harvesting wood to build tables.
I think FE could make a decent RPG with a bit of tweaking. Perhaps a future mod?
Version R has a new file in /CoreReplacementFiles/ named vsUnitType_Overwrite.xml It contains ability rewrite and item overwrite of certain weapons that performed effects dependent on target's . These effects were changed to use background unitstats instead. Example below. Before:
&
