Yeah, the Tiger is awesome. And a nice quest that didn't had you bashing people on the head. a Nice change of pace.

Well, I just played a few turns, regretfully real life has been a bit of a bitch lately, but yeah. Yeah, YEAH, YEAH!!!! this is without a doubt a winner. it feels more fun than FE did, and the champions mechanic feels just right. yeah it was fun exploring the map for them, but most oft than not you'd end up with an opposing faction champ and, well, leaving them alive was bad for business... I hope this weekend will let me have a better look at the game and make me f
I got 3,217,281,024 and as for checksum I got 74a4def048c5c04927f6a2b209a3eba2... so something is happening in Download, aye? Any advice?
I've tried DAP and Firefox, will try in explorer now, if nothing else seems to be working :S
I am using DAP
Actually my only attempts so far has been though the http, (the download manager for some reason doesn't give me the option of downloading FE) given that it always marks the corruption error at 96% (when the file is extracting itself), I am starting to think the issue is with the file in the servers...
Actually I've been downloading it though the https, tried using a manager as well, no luck :S
Well, I decided to reinstall the beta and see how things are shaping so close to the release date, regretfully the full install file is giving me a corrupt error, tried downloading it thrice, so I think it might have to do with the file in the stardock servers and not something in the download process. just wanted to let you all know.
Oh, consider me agreeing. This simply needs to happen
[quote who="seanw3" reply="2" id="3213975"]This would be further problematic because Pariden summons their outposts, allowing free population. I think there is still room to use population, but it needs to be more like +goldperpopulation from citylevelup. Overall there are alot of ways to use the population as a factor in one's economy. I just don't think it works well as a game limitation mechanic. It would force fortresses to have high growth to build armies. Towns would get less gr
Seconding the motion, the difference in town centers are too... limited. I was really expecting a keep of some sort for a level 5 fortress, to be honest... Was disappointed, obviously. But this is something the game could improve. not critical mind you and could live without it but will make for a better immersion.
But you also have the ships worst enemy, fire mages. Take a page from Slayers and use the mages as cannon batteries. but you are right initial ship tipes should be longboats and triremes or similars. moving to more complex Galeassess before going the full sail cannon battery of the latter frigates and man-o-wars
Agreed, this has been brought before and the answer was, DLC, maybe, iirc.
True, logistical issues asside, the thing is badly bugged, it is impressive how eager some rulers are willing to surrender... Far more eager than making peace with an overwhelming foe
[quote who="DsRaider" reply="21" id="3212976"] Quoting Winnihym, reply 182) "Build road" as a choice in the build queue of all cities. You click it, you draw what you want on the map, and it enters the build queue of the anchoring city, with a gold and mat (and crystal) cost to the building city. I like this idea. Adding a build road option to the queue would be nice. The only problem is it might be a little pointless because you always pretty much want to build roads to citie
Seconding, thirding, or whatever :P Really needs to stop happening
Yeah, and I seriously doubt a monster group would take the time to salt the land
Not sure if I'd like a caravan system back But having a dedicated engineer with the roadbuilding skill, that would be good. could be handled the way settlers are now or though a skill. the latter could allow us to make Legionaries in the roman sense of the word.
You know, a read only version would be cool. would let us know if we are suffering known bugs or if we are in groundbreaking territory.
True, besides maps now a days feel twisted. I rather miss having large plains. too many obstacles forcing chokepoints. its good for defense, to a point, but it makes for a boring game. I think the map generator needs some love.
I am having the same issue, thought it was only for a save, but it seems even older saves are triggering it. Here is the debug file https://www.dropbox.com/s/n8w5oje2fpqvwh0/debug.err And here is the zip <a title="https://www.dropbox.com/s/bwhfa8o0ii0nfe8/FallenEnchantress0_95-2012-08-20T10-42-55-566.zip" href="https://www.dropbox.com/s/bwhfa8o0ii0nfe8/FallenEnch
the item management as it stands is one big headache, some hero will have a ton of loot, others will have less and if you want to spread it evenly you need to move your troops, and the bigger the map the bigger the headache. So, taking a page from MoM, I'd like to suggest having a depot, so that one could store the loot in one central location, be it defaulted to your capital or to a build-able (and research-able) structure, with a storage or retrieval cost in gold and or mana, so
Well, some upgrade options would be nice, not as in galciv but tech related as it stands now, with a side tech adding some bonus to the defenders, say kingdom hedgerow or whereabouts and other providing a small garrison, as long as this are optional side techs, it should be ok
while I am only so-so at seeing Caravans gone, I am a bit more worried at seeing no road building unit to replace it. Organic sounds nice and all, but does that mean it will go over to that outpost over there or just between cities? will it choose the best path, the path I would choose or something or another option?
Well, there is a bit about rose tinted glasses and what not, but I've been playing MOM with insecticide's patch that tends to solve some of the AIs shortfalls and other issues and, well, it wasn't pretty for me. The original AI was lackluster, yes, but given what has been done with just some extra patching (well, a lot of it) sows that there was a lot of potential in the game, otherwise there would have been no fixing it and it should be.
