Who are these "people" who think that the only thing keeping the government from rolling over us is the 2nd amendment. I smell a strawman.
It is an opinion, so not everyone feels that way of course, that the point of the 2nd amendment is to prevent tyranny or an oppressive government. You yourself mentioned hit the idea lol on the last page. This surely is a point that can be moved past, no? [quote who="Frog

I think it's possible that the government goes bad - a reason people use to justify arming the undisciplined mass of citizens. However, it's much more common that everyday folks go bad. Right now the American political climate is hate filled and there is a side actively working to sabotage the government itself - it's hardly in an effective state. Yet armed citizenry provides no solutions to partisan infighting and ineffective leaders.
Derek, Any chance of getting this long standing bug addressed: Vetrar (and other wildlands bosses) leaving their territories, then when/(if) you kill them their lands stay wildlands instead of turning fertile Here are a few reports of it going back to patch .915: https://forums.elementalgame.com/448233/page/1/ <a href="https://for
On large maps where you dont find someone to go to war with fast, how do you get ppl to your cities??? There is the tower of dominion, but thats hardly enough to get a pioneer or two. The few bandits out there doesnt make for much either.
I guess you are supposed to play the Dead if you want a challenge or to play something different or something.
You can create your own factions. Whats wrong with the DLC. It works fine.
Taking a cursory look in other threads it seems you can't play AI with this faction, there is a typo that makes undead cities have trogs instead of undead, and a few other bugs.
This sucks. Quite a few longstanding bugs still in LH. I've got my fingers crossed that "soon" the Bosses wandering outside of their wildlands will be addressed. If you kill them outside of their wildlands, then their wildlands never turn into fertile territory.
I'd like 2 or 3 factions for $5/ to be honest. Oh well I'll probably spring for it anyway. I might wait for 1.5 though first.

Shield Wall used to be something you could get early on when it mattered most, now it's at the very end of the tree. It used to have +exp, but that was moved to commander instead. Legendary Civilizations is not bad. LegCiv lol. Still like MoE (Master of Elemental).
It's the borders not the terrain type. So he needs patched AI to say in his borders. Same for all the bosses.
I came for "Black Isle" fans looks here. I was disappointed.

So many turns of potentially (no pun intended) snowballing slower due to lacking a skill. The question is what a more reasonable value would be. Knowledge for Mages sit at 25% which sounds fairly reasonable and useful, delaying a combat skill noticeably
How do we know the republican billionaires aren't funding denial of service attacks and then walking to the pulpit and saying "lolz see I told ya Obamacare and abortion must be repealed!" Seems a likely scenario to me.

I'd buy MoE. :) The Fallen Enchantress thing has always struck me as a something after the :
Maybe call it Elemental Civilizations? Then you have GalCiv and you can have ElCiv. All the cool games have acronyms: MOO, MOM, GalCiv, Civ, etc.
that would be cool change or even if there was a "random event" that brought a guy and every city he conqured becomes part of his wildlands
I agree, but this might narrow down where the bug is occurring. I was just curious, since this problem needs to be address.
Vetrar and the other bosses need to be programmed to stay within their borders.
Yes, they are rare, you could make a map as such, but there is a random generation that may produce his domain and artic tiles, but that may be a long while before you find such a map.
It's still a bug even if it somehow worked that any artic tile you killed Vetrar on opened his wildlands. It is bugged.
Laired monsters, if you build a city whose borders encroach will become wandering monsters. They will leave the lair, leaving it undefended, and attack and do all the stuff that wandering monsters do
