I have more issue with the hexy, blocky presentation (along with the low detail) and especially the basic, square and painful UI makes it seem as if they just don't care about the presentation aspect of people using their product. Again, hopefully, it's just an Alpha and will get some more spit and polish before release.

Yes it is powerful. I find it out of place in that it superseeds a bunch of upgrades that can be built in the city. It just seems out of place to me and exploitable.
Any screenshots or anything? "Improved" is subjective, improvement is in the eye of the beholder, it would be nice to see these in action. Why the modifications to the game mechanics though in a mod that sounds like it should only modify appearance/experience (sound): "MEGA pack textures, animations and sounds for LH" mechanics changes: -Increased amount of gold at the start of the game to 125 gildars of 50 -Increased amount of the population
I haven't really played with the consulate upgrade but it seems kind of out of place. I can see the defensive, offensive, movement and other benefits but city growth from a tower? Really? How you figure that happens?
@onomastikon I noticed after I made my thread that you did also request a heroes screen. You know what they say about great minds. They think the same. haha
I have an idea to create a custom sovereign using randomized rolls and playing with that
It would also be nice to have a Heroes screen where you could scroll through your Heroes to see their stats and to remind yourself that Alexan the Beetle exists and is stationed in a city and you forgot about him 10 turns ago. Not that that has ever happened to me twice before.

As mentioned, I strongly feel the evoker and summoner should be different paths. apparently from tthe support thread the AI is bugged and never summons anything.

Looks great. I wish they'd ditch the steampunk for more straight fantasy but the graphics, the two planes (under and above ground), and tactical battle against a fort look amazing. I'm really looking forward to this.
On 1.3 challenging, I have gotten the enemy to surrender consistently (3 times) when he's down to one city under "normal" surrender option. Haven't tried higher than that difficulties.
Summoner and Evoker should be separate paths. The two paths should have some generic mage stuff in common - a summoner should get an evokation option or two but their path line should focus on summoning things and supporting and buffing their summons.
Rush can move your ranged units and mages away from enemy units and then allow you to fire off a round. It gives you an addtional turn of free ranged sniping before the enemy can close in on you. It's as useful to ranged as it is to anything.

Deorcnysse, the quest darkling city, seems to be very buggy. - No defense. It has been completely undefended in two of games I've seen it - once as the beta and now with shipping 1.30 version of Legendary Heroes other than the built in city militia. There should be some sort of garrison there no? After a new turns the wandering monsters do seem to like to attack but that could just be the "challenging" monster AI I am playing

alpha and omega: I watched it, kids kinda watched it but lost interest fast. didn't seem to be very good to me.
