Speaking of your sovereign dying in battle, I was rudely surprised in a recent battle attempting to eliminate an AI race when one of its heroes cast the "swap places with an enemy unit" on my caster sovereign. Seeing as how he was now in the midst of the enemy, he died without a chance to do anything when he was surrounded and mobbed by all the city defenders. Who taught this AI how to use that spell anyway!!?!?!
<

Pits of Madness is +1 research per essence. Evil FTW.
I wanna go. How tough is it for an american to get dual citizenship I wonder.
hey yeah, just mouseover one of your savegames from the Load Game Screen and it will show AI levels, for as long as you like - it's not timed.
$5.00 now or $5.10 a year from now... Hmmm. I know I would gladly pay you tuesday for a hamburger today. The OP has already stated he is ready to give his $5 for the loot pack. Sooo that money is dead to him - it's gone. If he put that $5 in an interest bearing account, he could reap the benefits of the wonders of compound interest until Stardock releases the loot pack. So whenver the lo
try it and see.. It is a box that says a bunch of junk like version number but also "pariden (challenging) Kapitar (challenging)" and so forth... I'm not at home to look at the moment
I'd love it if armies (depending on their faction) would be more wreckless/aggressive and attempt to take one city immediately after the other; either with one massive army charging through, or strategically attacking numerous cities at once from all sides. I've never witnessed either of these scenarios. But this would make the process of being at war more challenging, less agonizingly slow, and far more interesting and thrilling
Not sure if there is another way but when you load a game it lists out the opponents and difficulties in a quick little window
I have ended up on top of monsters and such. usually when you get attacked during "their" turn. If you beat them they pull you into their square. If there was something there before then you are on top of them. know what I mean?
I bought the PK301 Pocket projector, http://www.amazon.com/Optoma-PK301-Pico-Pocket-Projector/dp/B0039XRJ5Y, I want to say I paid much less than that closer to $300 (here it is refurb on ebay for $269 http://compare.ebay.com/like/190837015913?var=lv<yp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar ).
Quoting smeagolheart, reply 2 Put your $5 in an interest bearing account and give Stardock all the earned money whenever they release the pack to reward them. Wait a minute. He wants it now. By using interest earned as an incentive, you're actually motivating SD to take longer to release the DLC.
lol, oh yeah. I guess that wouldn't work. I think I w
I don't notice any heat issues. The computer sits on a shelf with my keyboard and mouse plugged into it and video out is on a 32" westinghouse full HD display. When I travel for work, I pack it up along with a HDMI cable, a pico pocket projector (about size of a deck of cards) and a somewhat light projector screen as an optional 100 inch screen.
it just makes sense to keep gameplay changes separate from visual only mods.
I ditched desktops for laptops some years ago. I prefer 15 inch laptops for their portability. 17+ inch laptops are a big deal to lug around both in weight and in size in your pack. While the extra screen space is nice, I just plug in my laptop into a LCD to get a screen much bigger than 17 inches anyway. The extra size from an external monitor is usually much bigger than 17 inches so all in all I prefer 15 inchers. I'm using a Lenovo Y5
Put your $5 in an interest bearing account and give Stardock all the earned money whenever they release the pack to reward them.
I run Legendary Heroes on a Lenovo Y500. Runs fine plugged in. When I unplug, the laptop switches over to from dedicated AMD graphics chip to onboard Intel graphics and the game crashes giving a DX error because of the switch. If I restart while unplugged it works ok but is a bit slower and not smooth off the Intel chip.
can you move the gameplay mechanics things to a separate mod?
Hm, sorry Steven, that seems not to be true. I got XP (FULL) + lost NO mana [my army won]. Only if the army loses, it seems i lose anything.. BUG or intended? PS: There is a bug with "scrying pool": once the city updated to +1 essence, the spell "meditation" is not updated to the new essence amount. One has to delete and recast it again to work as intended.
<
is there a recommended site where we can check to see if a domain is empty for you?
It was also a feature in Age of Wonders. As it is if Warlord Verga has the only Uber Axe of Smiting and he's defeated he will take that axe to his grave and it will disappear from the world completely and forever and that's just not right.
I find that I need a commander in my first two or three heroes. With no roads everything kind of grinds to a halt. With roads you get a huge advantage over the monsters of the world and the AI. Logistics are key to victory.
no mod works on an existing game as the game files are set in stone and saved with the game when the game is started. That's how the elemental system works
They should lock out one and other. If you select scholars, you can't pick uneducated ,etc
another exploit I've noticed is that if you are attacked by the AI between turns you can load the autosave and they will not have attacked you. Like it never happened.
