I play a lot of lvl 20 starting games but my question is are we talking about 1v1 or are we talking about group 3v3 or 4v4? From playing Rook what works from 1-10 doesn't work well at 20. Towers become worthless because they gimp his normal autoattack damage which is higher.. I build around stun, stats, hammer, and godstrength with my stuff up to trebuchet.

Tower build Rook's are great for lvling games but there are many ways to play Demigod..... If your playing a starting lvl 20 game Towers mean absolutely nothing and the Queen of Thorns with all her minion outs will destroy a tower rook with all 8 towers. Why? The towers will blast the minions before they attack the enemy demigod.... Generals with minions become basically immune to Tower Rooks leaving on Assassin Demigods to fear towers..... but w

[quote who="Extacide" reply="23" id="2176384"] Thanks for being a moron. Guess you did not realize that the game can allow certain options like instead of Starting at LVL 1 everyone starts at 20 Okay, then you just suck because you can't level to 20. Its for people that get bored with playing the "HUR HUR HUR I OUT LVL JOO NOW I BEATZ U EZY!" i.e. people who are good at this game, unlike you. <br

Actaully Extaretard everyone was lvl 20...... We played a game which everyone started off at the same lvl which was 20. Thanks for being a moron. Guess you did not realize that the game can allow certain options like instead of Starting at LVL 1 everyone starts at 20.... Its for people that get bored with playing the "HUR HUR HUR I OUT LVL JOO NOW I BEATZ U EZY!" game play that Demigod can offer. Sorry just like in WoW i never found it fun to beat a lvl 60 with my Lvl 80....

UB lvl 20 geared right can kill an 11k Rook (Light had two banners of fort) in approximately 14 seconds. Fight went like this. UB runs into Rook Hits with Spit. Rook player moves out of AoE, Deathbringer Silences UB, and crits UB for 2k. UB Spits again and foul Grasps Rook player which is now down to 2k HP boulder rolls and attempts to flee UB kills Rook. UB player had Groffling Plate, Doo

Um... I would say in a Straight up starting from lvl 1 game its hard to see what Demigods are Imbal. However, once all the Demigods hit lvl 20 Unclean Beast can pretty much three shot The Rook no matter how much gear you put on him.

this game does work. The SP is fine.... WoW a Massively Multiplayer Online game got AWESOME REVIEWS and Epic Accolades when it was released..... despite the servers crashing daily, the server side lag was so terrible that instant casts had a 2-5 second cast time, and the daily roll backs were so bad it took me 4 days to lvl beyond lvl 10...... Best MMO of the time and for most people a game that they couldn't play t

[quote who="EadTaes" reply="10" id="1981065"]Quoting Orodum, reply 4eh-em. Vasari should be the strongest. they are, after all, the warfare race (kinda-they are actually the phase race, but their ships are in general more powerful, tho more expensive). TEC is economy race, advent is culture, so the advent being lowest sounds right, but TEC would not have the highest damage value. the whole "millenia of peace" thing kinda deadens the warfare technology they had, and the

A phase jumping starbase would NOT break the game. Make the upgrade 0-1 in that only 1 vasari Starbase can have that ability at anytime. As for making the starbases block phase lanes i will not agree to that. The starbases are to defend vital areas and to force players to allocate a large amount of force to bring those places down. Right now as Advent or TEC their Starbases can be bypassed while i am assaulting the planet

My take on this whole discussion. In order for the starbases to be threats to players opponents they need to be able to move. The Vasari base being jump capable can be an easy fix where only 1 base can have the ability to jump at a given time. The other point is they must have the Anitmatter upgrade to make jumps and jumps should cost them 100 anti-matter per jump. So far the SBs seem like good damage spunges against small AI fleets.

The only problem with that is it would potentially god mode the ships that do not rely on their damage to be effective for the fleet. A great rerpesentive of that is a Progenitor Mothership as all that thing needs to do is spam Malice and heal the shields of ally ships.... Not saying its a bad idea just a time consuming ability to balance.

Umm... If you are playing Vasari you should be massing Phase Missles so you should be fielding The Vulkoras. The fact that it is Bristling with Phase Missles is enough to field them. With Bombers/fighters and 20 assailants plus two Vulkoras you can destroy a fully lvl ten Marza in a single pass.. Learn to use the Vulkoras before you whine about it... Or just learn to play the game...

the Problem with the AI is it will not engage the player unless it MASSIVELY outnumbers the player. The AI isn't aggressive once the player decides to apply maximum force. Main problem comes down to once you do push the AI back thats all it will do is fall back. The AI will never try to halt your advance or even try to reverse the situation.

There is also a problem of part of the fleet randomly trying to phase jump despite the fact they weren't given an order to do so. Had one fight i nearly lost when my Advent fleet jump into the planet and then all of the Iconus and Aeria Drone Hosts just turned around and jumped out despite the fact i gave the whole fleet an order to attack the enemy fleet.

well the other problem is vasari Mitagation does not rise like the other factions. Infact, a radiance/kol/marza/ and what have you will steadily rise at the same rates. Example i throw 9 Cobalts at a Radiance/Kol/Marza and they will all raise up to the high 20s to 30s% while the Kortul's would stay flatlined at 15%.

I have noticed latetly that shield cap on the Vasari seems to be the lowest as Tec can reach 74% while Advent ofcourse will reach 79% the Vasari seems to cap out at 69%. I was wondering if this was intentional or is this a bug?

i like the Devastator and Space Egg combo when i play Vasari. Currently i have been playing Advent and i have to say i like the Radiance and Progenitor combo. Against Tec its fun to say "yeah just try to kill the Radiance....".

[quote]Best starting cap of vasari is Migrator hands down. There is no discussion weather you might want kortul or marauder at start.None, period.Only time you might consider going marauder is when you are having clanmatch with team that know wtf they are doing. The Kortul and Desolator siege cap you can leave untouched. They are useless.Wether to build or not to build second cap is largely desidet by the factors of following:a) How far away is your opponent?b) Was your starttig location good on

[quote]Well as I said, I dont build cap ships in pvp. All battle I fought, those who massively relies on cap ships died so fast. I dont said that their abilities arent cool, I'm saying that's a waste of ressources to build more than 2-3 caps ships, and in this case, my choice go for another space egg, or a desolator (planet bombing upgraded), or a carrier: usually to escort the space egg, in order to take quickly neutral planets, and/or take out my first victim in an early war. If you c

Wow, to say the Kortul and the marauder are for "PvE" is ignorant and noobish.... Especially since the Kortul at the later lvls ups the DPS of your fleet. From your tactics it sounds like you do more "PvE" then anything....
