what about windows 7?
I'd be happy if the only point of 'villages' would be to take advantage of nearby resources, without having to invest essence into setting up a whole new city
well, thats something that really isn't seen in any games right now. And by that I mean things like 'mining towns'. or similar resource driven towns. I know I build everything I can in that little would-be-mining town, and they suck until you get their population up. If it does support more than 8 players, we are all supposed to have a game together (we as in the super early deticated Elemental guys.)
my bible said that adam and eve gained knowledge and wisdom, something that prior to eating from that tree belonged only to god, which is what made him so angry. They didn't gain all of it, but the ability to possess it in the 1st place. Also, I blame Lilith :D
man, a good improve music score! I've only seen a few that have pulled that off, but when it does, its awesome. Well, perhaps not entirely improve, but defined sets of music strung together to seem improve (I'm not sure how a TBS game could be entirely improve, but if somebody else does that would be amazing) I've seen quite a few games that have clever transitions between music based on what is happening. that works very well. Age of Empires 3 being a
oh my, pigeonx2, but you're one of us. We'll miss you. You're probebly even more reliable than I am to quickly be at a new post giving your input. In fact, I'm about to become a little less reliable myself just because I now my part time job from home, which means places that would eat up my time other than elementalgame.com (like youtube or just playing a GalCiv2) will be fighting for my time between calls. I was going to say post in my contes
Besides, everyone knows it's quite impossible to reproduce or mimic the feelings & emotional mind states of real S*x; although many tried without any success.
I think the main flaw there is budget. Nobody is willing to throw enough money to really create a high budget sexual game (which is why we have mostly cheap Bishoujo and strip poker games). If we as western culture had a significant change enough t
I really appriciate it Mumblefratz (yeah, and btw, I see both 50 and 100 in the elemental site all the time. In fact right now its telling me the limit is 100 and I have 53 save messages, but at the time of the original post I had like 56 saved out of a maximum of 50... on the same computer, same OS, same SD site (elemental). Only difference is I deleted a few out of fear of not recieving more.
1. I care about multiplayer because for so long I said "if only master of magic was remade with multiplayer. You wouldn't even need to better the graphics" and as a result, I'd be a hypocrit if I didn't 100% back the multiplayer aspects of this game. 2. I like the options. Play by e-mail, lan, and hotseat the most, since I perfer to play with people I know over random creepos on the net (I'm king creepo, so it sets a high expect
I personally really like the music of Master of Magic. Most of it is pretty relaxing and just flows well with the feeling of the game. However, it does suffer from (if you can call it suffering) is all midi music. Modern games can have so much more. Civilizations IV, had amazing title screen music (the music to the sight of the globe, not any of the expansions) and Heroes of Might and Magic 5 had great castle music (specifically th
I think you need to better define 'game' and 'made', probebly 'best' as well. I don't think "impossible" is the correct term to describe answering the question as stands, I think "idiotic" is more realistic. I mean no offence, but that is such an opinionated question, that I do not think it should ever be asked by anybody. And anybody who would straight up answer it without the disclaimer of "I think" is probebly somebody who gives their own opinion more
I just like good quotes in general. They don't even have to be real. Black and white had some good loading screen quotes, thought they were quotes from the regular dialogue. I'd be more than happy to help compile a list of quotes that could be used.
Depending on how limited building growth is I'd rather not be limited to only 4 buildings per tile, though I think its reasonable to have a building per tile conversion rate (its just 4 per is a little crazy low) It makes me wonder how that is going to work out for defending a town if that is what it amounts to be, like because 1 'killer stack' couldn't protect your town on all sides. That is realistic possibly, but it seems a little tedious. <
I mean while waiting for the movie and shortly there after. Normally (especially at a midnight release) there is a hefty amount of waiting for the movie to start involved. Also, there is usually interaction during a movie that is non-verbal and does not take away from watching the movie (this is especially true when I'm seeing a movie with a lovely person)
I'm going. We've been having a lot of good comic book to movies lately, and watchmen is a particularly good one. This movie gets the 'I'll go see it even if nobody is coming with me' mark (often I do not feel the $10 for a ticket to see a 2 hour movie once is worth it without some sort of social bonding included.)
Well, Gal Civ 2 had trade routes, and the people in the corners seemed to benifit most by having the 'longest trade routes' with other groups. So it seems best not to be in the middle by any account. You would think that the person in the middle would be best, since it would be a trading hub, but if its like Gal Civ 2, then that may not be true. The only way I can see 'the middle guy' benifiting from trading realistically, is if there is a 'trade' tech or something
you're missing granary or farm. Something to increase food production. Other than that, nice list.
This is likely addressed somewhere, but I couldn't find it from the elemental or demigod forums. Just what is the private message limit? Most of the time it says 100, but randomly (like today) it drops to 50. I'm a pack-rat e-mail holder, where I don't like to delete them if I can help it. So if the maximum is 50, I'll likely stick to about 40, but if the limit is 100 I'd stick to about 70-80. I like to have things for reference (saved my butt
I thought you meant THE scorched earth that I played as a kid, rather than a scorched earth or worms clone. tanks could move in scorched earch, you just needed gas
Less than a month left. Does nobody want a shirt enough that they are willing to do something for the game? (ignore this the 1 guy who has entered and spartan) I mean, they are nice shirts, and if you work in a 'business casual' workplace (provided they have the same definitions as mine) then its a work safe shirt too.
for the record, I'd mug one of the companions. The time lord might pull his screwdriver on me or do something crazy like shoot me with a shrink ray or something, but the companions are usually wimps who get themselves stuck in dumb situations (perfect for muging) Now, I don't mind that the Disc is the same, but if you fork over that high price game, at least give a full color manual for me to read with my AAA game (and smell of a 'new video game manual' It almost make
We are talking about the same thing. You can call it a class, a tag, an attribute, a type, or anything else you want.
yeah, I saw how you did it. I really like how you did the mock-up scripting for the record. My post was basically just a defence to my own side not being sure exactly what you intended by posting it. you gave me a perfect example, but I saw it as support for my side and recognised that it could also be
Its the seemlessness and scalablity of the engine that really has me excited
Well if it has one of the people who created it excited, (Building something from scratch tends to lower the mystery and excitement value of it for most people) then I'm that much more excited. Iconic landmarks!? how many different do-dats or other features are you creating? Are there going to be so many that you can expect areas to be littered with 'unique
