back in time, because I'd know what to expect giving me an upper hand against all others. Also, I like to mess with people. (go back in time and play with a gameboy in 1980, or even better, 1950, for example)

PigeonX2 is right! its close enough to alpha that I'm constantly checking the forums in hopes of new info being dropped. For all I know the alpha could be released at any time (or at least a release date could be released at any time) but don't actually have any news so I'm reduced to thread-jacking with rants on crap like the metric system, or talking about seemingly random things such as the random landscape paintings in the latests screenshots.

yeah, I must say that the other side having targets on it doesn't explain why they are there. I'm not sure why you'd need a wall that high either. Shouldn't there be somes sort of range variable on an archery field anyway (some targets close, some far away) I don't think it could stop arrows because its thin enough that you can see the color on both sides. (cloth, for example, usually has the color on both sides, because its thin and color bleed
I'm all for becoming a more unified world, but why must we use a constructed language to do it? And if we are using constructed languages why not Elvish or Klingon? Yes Esperanto is equivalent to Klingon in my way of thinking
awesome. (many people I know never heard of it until I brought it up. And the only pop-culture reference to it I know is Katamari which holds many Esperanto jokes) The whole "unified world" thing
I can actually explain that: the Zero Mission Metroids are Zebesian Metroids. The Prime metroids are Tallon metroids, and in Corruption they are Phazon Metroids. They are smaller because they are different subspeices, in the case of the Phazon Metroids they were also subject to HEAVY phazon mutation.
And that doesn't make any sense because Metroids are not native to Zebes (and should not be native to Tallon). It is made very clear in all non-prime metroid games

uh... my avatar tastes better than a coin... I've got a girlfriend that can testify. [e digicons];)[/e] I disagree, Kraid and Ridley are still equel. 1st off, Meta-Kraid would have kicked Meta-Ridley's butt. (I stand that they removed him because he would have been too hard, and replaced him with a much easier "Omega Pirate") and 2ndly the only reason Ridley got any more screentime in than Kraid was becaus

WOAH! you're right pigeonx2. What a GROSS brain fart there. (I did 1/5 >_>;) remind me to give you karma for correcting me when the karma cannon is working again. it was like 2 am or something... uh... uh.... I was distracted and busy losing my wacom stylus or something (must include an excuse) The sun got in my... math eyes >_> yeah thats it. 14 million, hey! that's like 7 times as many people who

in 1 to 30 days you won't... because the funds were never actually removed from your account. You'll see it as a "pending" transaction, and while most banks lower the balance to reflect any "pending" deductions, it will not/cannot over draft as a result because the money is never removed. It stays pending for however long the bank leaves those in pending state (no longer than 30 days) then it will vanish from your "records" and the money will "magically" be back in y

You want to know why my avatar is better than the one above? Well, for starters, the above avatar is a poor excuse for the screw attack item from the Metroid Series. The lighting on it does not make any sense (there is a light in the upper left of the image. However the "S" is completly flat in spite of the obviously curved surface behind it that it does not cast a shadow the way a flat raised object would on a curved dome. The lighting on the "S" completely ignores th

why does this town have not 1, but 2 colored walls? They look like the types of backdrops you'd see in loony toons when they were mocking film studios... or the type of thing that the the coyote would use to try to catch the road-runner except to find the road runner ran into the painting.

I didn't play much of the sequels, but I agree that Civ 4 is certainly worth it.

Is the eggo commercial the origin? I thought you were just saying that was the 1st place you heard it. I'm sorry. I'd give you karma, but winnie the pooh informs me it doesn't work. I like Civ 4's "brothers in arms brings us closer together" or something like that. If the AI is good at all, faction A will ally with Faction B to take out C even if it doesn't like B provided C is a worse enemy (and mutual, since they wouldn't ally with B against C if B and C are best friends... unless its Sins of a Solar empire, in which case I hate how they are like "go thrash your best friend" all the time)

this makes me want to play "Burning wheel" because they sound like GREAT character traits to give my dar dar.

I've only heard "rocket Surgeon" used to show sarcasm related to a statement that is supposed to be a "duh" statement but in fact is obviously wrong (in this example, cacti live everywhere from the great basin to the amazon rain forest... the amazon rain forest being the exact opposite of a desert by all definitions) > however, I don't think the "internet = series of tubes" senator, Ted Stevens, is the one to blame for that one. ever saw the machine Mr. Garrison from south park invented to replace airplanes? yeah... yeah, that crowd would do just fine I'm sure. But seriously, metal butt-plate (and not sitting on the sharpest parts) would fix the pointy bits I hope. see, totally works.

six fingers is not a very attractive feature, no... but I wouldn't say they don't breed often. I remember back in high-school our school had some stupid "get to know your classmates" type scavanger hunt and one of the objectives was "find somebody with 6 fingers" to discover they were not that rare. (our school was about 1200 I think, and I want to say 1 of the teachers and 4-5 of the students had* 6 fingers. *=were removed at birth or shortly there after)</p

the delay is only like a month. And the game's release isn't until 2010. One of the things that is included in the "Polish" is AI... back on the 24th I asked boogiebac if the 25th was still 'go' and he said the AI was not working yet, so no alpha until we had an enemy to play against. (where 'we' means those lucky enough to be in the alpha) Besides, the removal of the 3D map has nothing to do with how "done" they are... it is to force users to look
