I am pretty sure Ironclad already promised they would answer the question of "who is chasing the Vasari" before they are done with Sins. There have been not-always-subtle hints that there is a major expansion pack coming out, and they certainly promised to eventually provide more story content

BEHOLD! the glory of the Stardock booth at GDC! Compare to the Penny Arcade Stardock booth, if you can find the pictures. <img src="http://landiscasner.com/images/stuff/ranttime/2010-03-12%2
Frogboy, Care to give any excerpts?
Thats my number 1 reason for not totaly loving Sins of a Solar Empire. Its the one thing it was missing.
oh, just cross your fingers for that.
There has been a lot of discussion about automation. The whole Micro vs. Simplicity type stuff. Keep in mind they need to iron out the mechanics BEFORE they are going to create AI to start properly automating it for players. I would expect so see more automation in Beta 3+ or perhaps even later (like only in the final release).
yeah, I have the old CD version. I love its thick manual. I want a Master of Magic shirt! Where is our picture?
Have we gotten any new trailers? I haven't been keeping up.
Time to update it seems!
"Luckmann, of the 9 bear-paws. And the cookie spoon! It started with a net meme, and some ol' ripped-off tune" (I'm tired. leave me alone)
You know, it may be a good community project to try to establish some sort of guide based on whats available. I mean, I find fan-manuals are often better at explaining some mechanics than official ones. Mainly because fans have the time to put into it. I should push the elemental wiki more.
Master of Magic really did. Though I feel it was a little unbalanced. I however, at the same time like the trait system of the Total War games. Just because there are so many traits. I have fond memories of laughing when it turns out my ruler in medieval total war was gay, and now he doesn't produce offspring.
right, the Krax are humans on the empire side! its reasonable to assume there is somebody on the flip of that coin. (though I guess its easy to say after Frogboy's already confirmed it)
so... are we talking double negitives here? like "you should not: do not visit youtube" I guess everybody has their own way of being excited for this game. I know I am!
I'm surprised more people haven't shown up saying "do we get Beta 1E or 1F ?"
oh man, kitten sanctuary! Is that game top selling yet?
Some people will never buy Elemental becuase they only like the "real" style of Civ. SOme people will only buy Elemental because they only want the fantasy theme. Otehr will buy (and greatly enjoy, like me) both. Some will buy that with better mods (this one is speculation). And in any case, Stardock doesn't need to worry about Civ V or the second coming of Elvis. CIv already has an extensive player base developed during years and Elemental is not going to get over that. Stardock
All these images are of very poor quality and cluttered with letters and lines
Igor, I give the option of a 'clean' version of pretty much all the wall paper specifically so you choose not to include the letters. I fear I only have so much to work with. Also, "all of these images" is a bit of an unfair sweeping generalism. not only does it fail to take note that I provided "clean" versions of all the art. But I also went out of my way t
Man, sorry I've been so busy of late. Here we have one courtesy of Splitshadow ! <a h
generic fantasy use? I think providing sexy fantasy art they way you are (especially if you suddenly started including them raw without the medallion boarders for some reason) then they very likely would be picked up for general internet use. I mean, who doesn't want a picture of a guy reaching for a dragon's face (like the above post) and you're providing a whole slew of good quality pictures.
"state of the art" client/server multiplayer Over the past 3 months I've grown much more aware of server costs. I'm very curious just how much is required to maintain these servers. (did I already ask somewhere if the server software ran on windows or linux? )
A very very bold statement.... I've not yet in all my years of gaming, ever come up against WORLD CLASS AI!
Oh, "world class" suggests dif
There are some other art assets in the journals it would be nice if were available in the media section under some sort of higher resolution. (while we're talking about possible improvements) Specifically images from journal entries like "creatures of elemental" and "people of elemental" feature some beautiful artwork that would be nice to see added to the media section.
Total Emo?
that outfit says "emo" to you? She's wearing a low-cut white/grey robe. I don't think that she is emo for that. In fact, I'd say she has a strong sense of style. If I saw somebody in that outfit wandering around in real life, I'd totally make the 1st impression judgement that they had esteem of some sort.
yes I do. edit: Somebody else totally grabbed my avatar. :( I may want to ask you spartan not to have a direct link to my current avatar up just so people can't do that. (the guy didn't even give me karma for it. He just used it)
