Same here icen9ne. I don't mean to pontificate but this rationale: "+ LOTS of code to handle the increasing costs in terms of people to run your improvements. If anyone thinks that getting highly talented people remains equally easy as you grow, ask google, microsot or apple about that. It's not." While very true, doesn't necessarily make it a good game mechanic. Namely it makes the game more tedious and less fun

1.2b Thoughts: 1) Game seems A LOT more stable. 2) I also agree (as others have stated) that the citizens requirements for new buildings are too much. I'll conquer a city and then have to wait 50+ turns before I can build anything else because I am at negative 300 citizens. 3) Unless this has been addressed some other way, please allow us to either group heroes into an army that's treated as one in the city menu or have a "un-station all" button. I, and several other people, have posted about it this outstanding issue.
Cool. Definitely one of the more interesting Talents, so I hope it makes it back in.

I guess I just feel those designs were one of the ways the game was gonna be elevated beyond something like GalCiv2, which lets be honest, wasn't the most awe-inspiring in that department. Went from very creative to pretty dull Sovereign design in one beta. Le sigh.

When I first caught a glimpse of Elemental, I saw these really inspired designs of the Sovereigns in spectacular armor. Really reminded me of Final Fantasy designs but BETTER. Now the Sovereigns (specifically the Fallen ones) are pretty boring. WHAT HAPPENED!?! I want the old Kul-Al-Kulan and Verga back!

But I would suggest paying for the game before you left, as sometimes buying things online when in another country doesn't always work out the way you'd hope it would. I will be going to China for a month on a business trip starting the 20th of August. Will I be able to download Elemental through Impulse overseas? I've been playing the beta and can't wait another month after release to play! I apologize ahead of time if this is an ignorant post.

I still think the term "Diplomatic Capital" needs to change, so I'm going to throw a few other possible replacement names based on what others have said: faith, support, clout, allegiance, leverage, etc. Others I've suggested: dominance, legacy, power, sovereignty, prestige (although, already being used). Like someone else said, DC is too abstract of a concept. We need a better title to fit the concept, IMHO. What is it in reality? What is its simplest, most el

I love the concept, but PLEASE give it another name besides "Diplomatic Capital." IMHO, it's too cumbersome. There is probably a word far more succinct and elegant. Something along the lines of "prestige," although currently that word is in use in other areas of the game, if I'm not mistaken... How about even switch the current term of "prestige" with a word like "legacy/sovereignty/dominance" and then "diplomatic capital" with "prestige." Seems to make more

I tried to install Elemental and came into a gaggle of problems. Since no one seems to exist in the Impulse forums, I shall recap my sorrow here... Impulse has gone whack for me. I had to uninstall it b/c of "download verification errors" whenever I updated an old game or tried to install a new game. So, I then tried to reinstall it from an installer downloaded directly from the Impulse site and that was considered "corrupt" and it asked me to find a new file

I'm not a fan of "ugly" as a term for a weakness-- could possibly be more creative there-- something less subjective and more objective. Might as well have "fat" haha-- these just seem un-PC. Could go with "scarred" or "brutish" or "un/attractive" or "malformed" etc. I'd keep that in mind with all the talents/weaknesses actually-- more specific, less abstract, don't alienate your fat, balding fanbase (like me) who live in their basements going pew pew. </p
