I will be going to China for a month on a business trip starting the 20th of August. Will I be able to download Elemental through Impulse overseas? I've been playing the beta and can't wait another month after release to play!

as I understand it if you have impulse setup on the computer you want to download the game to you will be able to if you have internet access.
and impulse works for me in australia, even through a wireless modem dongle.
I can not give you any info about accessability in china though.

Should be no problem unless it's blocked on their end (I don't believe it is, though).
Same for me. Impulse connects just fine in China.
But I would suggest paying for the game before you left, as sometimes buying things online when in another country doesn't always work out the way you'd hope it would.
Where in China are you going?
Also works in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand if you decide to visit these areas also.
Download won't be a problem. Just be aware that internet speed in China is generally capped at 4mbit. Still enough to download in due time, except for hotels which will be fairly slow to download from.
If you're into facebook, twitter and google docs, you better have a proxy.
I'll be in Taiwan, Shanghai, Beijing, and Tibet. A bit of a tour de China haha. Thanks everybody for the info.
