May I ask you guys: if you are using internal platter-based hard drives, how do you guys cope with heat dissipation? I live in the Southern US and even with AC in the home, I find that I have to remove the side panel of my case to keep my 1.5 TB 7,200 RPM HD between 115-117 F. My PC is on carpet (I know, I know :) ), but my case seems to be able to provide good ariflow (fans front and back , side to side, as well as top and bottom). How do you guys cope with heating pro
Quoting jackswift85, reply 135 There's been tons of independent research into the statistical data and quality of the USHCN monitoring stations used for NOAA and others, and they have all found the same thing: there is no meaningful statistical difference between those cited by Watts as poor and those cited as good. Actually, that is completely false. There has been NO other independent studies of the station citi

http://www.gog.com/gamecard/expeditions_conquistador This is a TBS game that, per the developer, is 'It's kinda like if you took Jagged Alliance's combat and crammed it into King's Bounty'. Here are excerpts of reviews: http://conquistadorthegame.com/press/</a

The tutorials are really great...are you guys planning on adding more videos (I know the development process is slowing down as you guys gear up for the new projects)? In addition, will there be an addenda for the manual? I have to confess, I find that the manual does not explain a lot of the mechanics of the game (for a gamer of my experience level-virtual novice). I watch LPs of players playing FE or LH and I see them doing things mechanistically within the game and I
1)The Weather Channel's weather app is nice. It is free, but does have ads (they are unobtrusive in my opinion). 3)I have a few music players for my S3- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.neutroncode.mp&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5uZXV0cm9uY29kZS5tcCJd <a href="
A Wilding Rider with a high initiative is supposed to be able to strike first. That's the advantage of a high initiative. There are a lot of counters for it. Equipment and traits that increase initiative is a big one. More defense to negate the advantage of that attack. Not attacking unless you are tough enough to take the army is a big one (if you are being attacked by the wilding
To my knowledge, this issue hasn't been discussed by the dev team. I am wondering what the plans are for troop placement in tactical battles. In FE, opposing forces were too far away, leading to many turns being used to get melee units into close enough proximity; in LH, the arrangement seems to be very haphazard. Some units are scattered far from the center of the map; others are places near areas where it still will take many moves to get cl

Maybe now after seeing some of the fruits of your labor, she will be on board with you moving to Michigan and working at SD. She could be in charge of naming the heroes :).
This has happened to me in both 0.87 and 0.90 (one time each). After settling on a tile with my sovereign, casting spells on the city (each time this has happened it was on a tile with essence), picking a research path (Civics each time) I will then click the build tab to start building structures in my city. My sovereign's unit would be 'outside the city'-that is the unit slots where you see the iconic representation of the militia, hero, sovereign, etc whe
Then it is pointless as each person sees fun as something different. Then it is not important which game is difficult, just fun.
Which is precisely why I put this sentence in my first post -"It got me wondering what was the most frustrating/difficult game that you have ever played and yet had fun with." The operative word to rebut your post
Well since your title is pretty undefined, there is only one game that can possible be considered most difficult: Starcraft BroodWar.
The thread as I envisioned it (and as I pointed out in the first post), is to discuss the most difficult game that you had fun with.
Amongst other games (including some of the Star Wars and Tomb Raider franchise games), Steam is offering a Stardock package sale. GCI Ultimate, GCII Ultimate, Demigod, SoaSE:R, The Political Machine 2012 and FE are being sold as a package (I do not think you can pick and choose the games you want) for $44.99. Individually the package would go for $89.99.
Derek, thank you for taking the time to respond. If you don't mind answering this, how hard is it to make a 'modular' game; that is, to add an option set that allows the more hardcore player to have an experience closer to the number manipulation, if they wish, but if they don't they can be blissfully unaware of the calculations going on under the hood? I guess what I am asking is-how difficult is it in practice (given an unlimited
I guess the question I have for those who like the XP split as it stands now is this: by the time you have earned your second* champion (or third**), do you have an army to accompany her/him by that time? Or have you made plans such that in a few turns you are ready to supply him/her with two or three units? I am not the best player in the world (and I don't want or need to be; I just want to enjoy my game), so I may not be using the early champions effectively, but
