Ok so I placed a preorder right when you first could but just had to cancel it because my credit card was stolen. I wont be able to place another order untill my replacement card comes in about a week. Does anyone know if I will still be eligible for the beta when I place my order again? Or is there a window of opportunity for joining the beta like with elemental?

Vasari have several advnatages that they need to exploit. The first is neutral extractors, Vasari claim these using cheap and fast scouts rather than colony ships. Use your scouts to claim and keep neutrals all over the map even in enemy territory. In large team gamese a good vasari strategy is to rush a starbase on the closest homeworld (need feeder backing for this). Its hard for the enemy to deal with early on, just make sure you back it up with some fleet.
can't say I have ever experienced this, so is your game at the latest version (1.041) and are your graphics drivers fully updated?
If you had downloaded updates for vanilla sins you will have had to register the serial to an email address. If you know the email address it would have been registered to just use the look up serial number functionality on Impulse (click the "?" button in the top right hand corner). Otherwise contact support

@ Wingflier, first of all Ironclad develops the game not Stardock (they just publish it). Personally I like the rock-paper-scissors system. You can't have a wonderfully intricate game AND expect it to have mass appeal. What I think would have been a good design system is for the armor type of each to be shown for each unit on the data card and long with it the damage multipliers against it, (same goes for the damage multiplier) rather than the strong versus stuff thats shown currently.

Isn't there a category for credits gained from bounty?
Off the top of my head I can only think of destroying trade ships (destroying them gives 100 creds I'm 99% sure). It doesn't get added to your credit income rate though in the stats screens (i'm 90% sure that only shows income from planets/trade as otherwise it would spike up and down every time you killed a trade ship or claimed bounty etc). Maybe you just had more planets or lower fleet supply than the other players.

Premade vs premad PUG vs PUG That is the ideal situation if you'd ask me. Its not fun being stomped when no one on your team will work as a team etc. I'm not anti-premade though. On the rare occasion I have friends to play with I don't really mind versing a premade. Sometimes though I will see multiple half full lobbies and I will join and see if they are premades, and tell the waiting premade team that there is another premade in a differnt lobby
Its better than before I'd say. Fighters are significantly more useful. TEC and Advent are quite even now I'd say. Vasari should at least get a decent colonise if the Devs are unwilling to buff enforcers because of reintegration.
you go to the mutliplayer option as per usual and then there should be an option "host saved game" on the left and then your buddies just join the game
Starbases are a delay tactic rather than a slatemate inducing end all and be all. They can take a while to take out if its supported by hanger bays and repair platforms. One time in the very late game my opponent couldn't take out one of my starbases, supported as I said with hanger and repair bays, as well as a Halycon, some guardians and some carrier sourced fighters. This was very late game... Starbases also make guerilla tactics ineffective, which is a huge boon par

What is oddest of all is that I get perfectly normal ping to aussie servers on speetest.net, I wonder why that traffic doesn't go through the fail server/is there a way to stop your traffic routing through a particular server?

Where did you get those numbers from snowboard? A quick googling appeared to reveal a number close to 10-15% for % of world production produced in the US.
