It might be good that i wont get in until the second batch of betas go out because once the game is released my guild mates on Starwars TOR are going to see a lot less of me for at least a week or two :-)
Although Lord Xia did not preorder WOM like he should have, and instead waited for its release, he has without question been more active on this site than the other 90% of use that post on here. further more almost all of his posts have been helpful and worth while to read. As such I would like to formally request that Frog Boy add Lord Xia to the January 19th Beta and if it doesn't well then I guess well have to tell Miss Piggy that [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e]

I would recommend that stardock consider giving permission for monetisation only to established Lets Play authors. The point of this is that while anyone can make a Lets Play video, it really does take some skill to create one that is enjoyable to watch and those that do create really good Lets Play video's should be rewarded while at the same time we don't want every tom dick and harry to flood the market with poorly made videos that don't show the game the way it should
Dont quote me on this but $39.95 should be the full retail price. If you purchased their previous game WOM after a certain patch was released and before a certain date, i forget the exact time frame, then you should be getting a discount on that price, and if you purchased WOM before that patch then the new game will be free. I was one of those that pre-ordered the Collectors Edition back in 2009. So I am looking forward to my free copy of FE :-)

Seems like the key thing here will be to verify whether or not the Intel HD 3000 is capable of supporting Pixel Shader 3.0
Personally I would never buy a laptop with an Intel GPU for gaming. A dedicated graphic processor from nvidia or ati would be best. however before we take this any further it would be helpful to know what your budget is for the new laptop, then we might be able to help you find the best deal for amount your looking to spend.
I think this would be an awesome opportunity for stardock to get ahead of the game by making FE touch friendly :-) Personally I am keeping my eye on some of the new touch screens being developed and plan to buy one for my desktop some time in the next 6 months to a year from now.
Lord Xia me thinks we need to have a karma drive for ya :-) its like a car wash or bake sale except that instead of cookies and washing cars to raise money for something we all give you rep points so you can break 100 karma points :-)
can you please leave the cloth map mode that you are using for debugging in the game as a feature for us to play with :-) might also help slower end PC's
I just want the beta now :-) I don't care how long it takes to get to release version 1.0 as long as I have my beta to play between now and then
well there is a boat in E:WOM so i think there will be some boats in FE however they probably wont be ment for naval battles, mostly for transporting troops and fishing

Just be willing to wait a few months before most of the bugs have been patched and a lot of new content has been added. fortunately the new content will be free from what I have been told :-)
