I have a pretty fast connection and a fast computer so i s

It'll be 0.76 which will be a fairly significant update too.

I also want to know when Beta 2 starts. I will pre-order the game when i can play the beta asap
Duetsch, The beta is currently only open to those that have purchased E:WOW directly from Stardock d

Frogboy, When will the next round of beta invites be going out ? I am dying of anticipation and the only known cure is a heavy dose of Fallen Enchantress :-) Signed, Josh
Quoting Frogboy, reply 27Right now, if the game is running well for you that's outstanding. But if it's running slowly, it's not surprising and nothing to sweat because it shouldn't be running that fast for most people. It should, ideally, be running too slow for approximately 50% of the user base. So, does it make sense that people with higher-end cards would be having more pain than those with older ones? Is
I read somewhere on the forum that there was an XML change to enable the dynasty system but there was one catch not all of the dynasty windows have been created yet so while it is functional it may not be as easy to manage given that some of the dynasty panels will be blank. As such it is my guess that they plan on bringing it back at some point later on since they already have most of the code for it built into FE
yea that will probably handle it just fine. With most video games the graphic card is more important than the processor. in this case the 1GB Gefore GT 525m should be more than enough to play the game on low or medium settings. before buying it though i would wait for someone that is in the beta to advise, but i personally think it would be fine.
Stmorpheus, Fallen Enchantress is Large Address aware and as such it will take full advantage of 4 GB of memory if you have a 64bit system with a 64bit OS If one of the developers reads this I would like to know if it is set to only use a max of 4 GB or can it use 8 or 12 GB of ram if you have a lot of ram available to use. on my computer I have 16 GB of memory so it would be awesome if this game was capable of using more than 4 GB. <p
Posting this here since it its relevant to the topic at hand. Frogboy, I have and new computer with Windows 7 64bit a i7 2600k cpu and a GTX 580 video card, another computer with Q6600 processor and a GT 8800 video card, and an older computer on an amd processor with a video card that has 256 MB of video memory. When it is my turn it participate in the beta would it possible for me to get two cd-keys so that I can test the game out on my two ne
Mmmm...ham. Anyway, is there a way to pre-prder the game and gift it to someone? I bought E:WOM in 2010 so I'll be getting E:FE for free and it doesn't have an option anywhere to pre-order E:FE. I am considering buying it for my brother as the game looks pretty cool and he liked MoM back in the day. Plus I'd like to help out Stardock at the same time. Heck, I'd like to buy a boxed editio
I am also interested in purchasing a collectors edition box as well So I can put it along side the Collectors edition of E:WOM that I purchased back in August of 2010 :-)
they will change that in time. right now its in beta stage and they have to control just how many computers are connecting to the server at the same time. When the game is released retail it will not have this restriction and it will not require that you have internet access in order to play the game.
This game is turning into a spiritual successor to Masters of Magic and that in itself is high praise :-)
Agreed As for placement of the button, I would like to see it positioned below the Load game button and above the workshop button.
While that response is helpful it would be awesome if instead you could change the default key binds for Quick Save to F5 and for Quick Load to F8. The reason being is that F5 and F8 have generally been the standard key binds in about 90% of the games made in the past decade.
I Purchased the collectors edition through amazon back in august of 2010 so it looks like I will have to wait until the second wave :-( I also purchased the book Elemental: Destiny's Embers and I have to say it was a pretty good book. My only question would be when are you going to publish a sequel to your book ?
Thanks askjosh, I didn't know Kingdoms of Alamur was even going to have a demo. DL'ing it now . Between that and all the add-ons for Shogun 2 I picked up yesterday I won't have a problem waiting for FE later today.
Your welcome :-) sadly I was not impressed with Kingdoms of Alamur and cancelled my preorder. Also with all the bugs and exploits that were introduced with version 1.1 of Starwars TOR I am considering canc
(1) FE has over 3 different types of loot: Sausage, Gold, or Sausage (2) FE supports both 640x480 resolution with 16 colors OR 320x200 with 256 colors (3) FE copy protection is that the player is always connected to our server playing ala remote desktop. So there is no code on your machine. (4) Relate to #3, max FPS is 10 frames per second. (5) Music is handled through an optional Ad Lib sound card.
You could also download the demo for Kingdoms of Alamur that was released today :-) that should hold you over until the beta starts
well that answers that
its only wrong if you don't enjoy watching a show about absolutely nothing :-) I have to say though even though I didn't really find the show that funny my two favorite episodes were the Soup Nazi episode and the very last episode. Seeing them all go to jail for all the crap they did to other people and seeing those people appear on the witness stand was very very funny :-)
haha no soup for you someone must be a fan of Sienfield :-)
Ya know I think we should all do a write in vote for Donald Duck because no matter who gets in the office they can be any worse than a duck with no brains :-)
