GFWL has to be the worst program I've ever used. I think MS's busisness model should just be aborting the whole program. I use to play DoW2 all the time, but I became so aggravated with GFWL I ditched the game... which sucks because DoW2 was fun. Half the time it would not patch correctly, the other slight half GFWL would conflict with the game resulting in waiting for a new patch, and the remainder of the pie chart is dedicated

Ahhh true, Raven X. Yea I didn't DL it when it was released on torrent sites. I did it like 2 weeks ago. But that is pretty funny. What pisses me off about certain copy protection is when they limit installs. I mean seriously, did you buy the PC version of Unreal Tournament 3. They only allow you to install it twice. So anytime I feel like playing unreal, if I formatted my machine or removed it to play something else, is by calling up Epic and having them make it work . It's even more bullshi
Nah I'm talking about what happens on the way to killer croc. The last encounter with Denton (the beginning of it). Though you are right about the Ivy thing. My computer crashed several times during that fight due to my video card overheating (turnning AA off during the fight fixed that issue for me).
Well, I wouldn't say I'm giving GFWL the finger. I love the general concept. I just think MS needs to decide and soon what they want their business model to be.
Yea the whole paying for a quick patch thing you mentioned is BS.

So how many people thought Batman Arkham Asylum fried their Computer/console towards the end? I know I did.
This is second half of the shack news interview with Brad. The last bit is pretty funny. http://www.shacknews.com/featuredarticle.x?id=1203
occurs after 2 buildings have been placed
I know the notes didn't mention this being fixed, however, it still happens. CTD, warhammer style
I hate EA too. You know that they are the reason we haven't been playing Dragon Age for the past 6 to 8 months or so. Since EA is publishing it, they made Bioware wait till the console versions were complete to launch them at the same time. Bioware initially was going to release the PC version first and then put out the console versions at a later date.
Should money for buildings be applied when you place the plot instead of after it is built that way you can't queue up a bunch of buildings that result in negative money?
The top of the elemental window is the top of the primary monitor. The bottom of the IE window is the bottom of my 2nd dispay (they are stacked). Upon connecting the display Elemental Crashed (not Responding). the music is still playing though if that matters.
I have the same problem randomly
Yea the save feature completely malfunctioning it would seem.
Ahhh nice. Thanks.
Ignore it. the game will still work. It's an issue with win7 RC. It's fixed in the RTM
Controls to rotate the camera about all three planes (x, y, and z axis) would be helpful .
All the other empires have a bonus associated with them so I didn't know if the lack of one for this empire was a bug or not
when loading into a game the city doesn't reapear; however I can still select it.
I think it is the same for all the GFX settings. I was unable to change AA until after a restart as well.
Try not pressing anything while it is loading. When the initial title screen pops up and I click the mouse button or push a keyboard button it will crash; however, if I don't press anything and let it load I get to the intro video just fine.
This happens to me when I ALT-TAB out of the game and go back in.
Yea if you haven't read the Malzeen series its top notch.
