It looks the enemy has an advantage over you in the SN.
I'm trying to read the books for a while now. They are very thoroughly written in every aspect, but the motivation to read it is very dependent on the protagonist in the current chapter. I like the ones with Tyrion, Jon, Anya, and Daenerys; the rest is more of a chore to read, especially the ones with Sansa. Personally I prefer the style of Raymond E. Feist (Riftwar cycle), David Eddings †(Belgariad, ...), and Trudi Canavan (Da
LotR has also been made into a movie. Not many people today have actually read them. Likewise, popularity for ASOIAF will go through the roof once the first season debuts on HBO late next year. Here's the link for the non-reading types: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0944947/ Doh, the link works now.
Wouldn't work. Running any hardware acelleration through a VNC client usually will just crash the client.
I doubt that they will give you seperate keys for 64 bit and 32 bit since they are on the same disc. Why would you want to run 32 bit anyway?
Damn OsirisDawn nailed it:
It will be, without the shadow of doubt 9/17.
The only one to guess it. How did he know?!?!?!???!??!??!1
Quoting Hawawaa, reply 5 Windows 7 dont fail me now! Well seeing as how windows 7 will be released before Elemental, they better make sure it'll run on that os as well.
What are you talking about? Win 7 runs everything.
Society is still coming. Just after Elemental.
Really? I thought this followed Duke Nukem's footsteps. Btw How long has Elemental been in development? I just discovered it this past summer.
yea I squirted my pants a little when I saw that.
Concerning 1B) I think I would stick to the original 9 houses though: Starks, Greyjoy, Lannister, Frey, Targaryan, Arryn, Tully, Martell, and Baretheon. Of course this means the this version of the Mod, would take place before Robert's Rebellion (Prior to the death of Lyanna Stark). However, you could easily make the mod so you had varying Scenario setups, such as the War of the 5 kings and so forth. Also since we have <a href="http://www.tow
bah see the next post... (Delete this post)
This is actually the first fantasy-themed world that I thought would fit this game based on the lore associated with the novels. I think it works much better than say a LOTR themed mod, since the various houses are in fact fighting to rule the entire kingdom. I would defintely pay for a professionally done mod based on ASoIaF.
I think someones sarcasm meter may be broken...
Actually the purpose of the beta is so we (the beta testers) can get a feel for the game at the core level learning the ins and outs of how the engine works. We also will master gameplay at the most basic level in the game during beta 1. Once this is achieved, more features will be added so we can slowly adjust to the increasing amount of depth to the game. As the release nears, we will be so experienced at the game that all the new people who begin to play will be no match to us and we will
Mmm, not the rain on your parade, but a lot of people consider Monday the first day of the week. (because Sunday is the day of rest in Christianity, and a lot of societies have historical ties to Christianity)
Last I checked, when you open up a calender, whether it be on a phone, in outlook, or traditional paper one, the weeks start on Sunday.
So I'm guessing the way the system is going to work is that we queue up what we want to do for the turn and when done we press ready. When everyone has hit ready, then all the turns are excuted simutaneously so that no can just delay and wait to see what everybody else does and then make his or her move.
Ok for a online savegame, but it would be very hard to get the same 32 players at the same time to continu the game...
Most games allow you to just sub in an ai player. I would assume the same would hold for this one.
50 hrs is only a few??!?!!?!!?!?!!!1
I don't need magic to beat anybody. I'm that good...
I assume these games can take 10 to 50 hrs to play depending on how many people you have playing and how big your map is. Sins of a solar empire had this option so is it safe to assume that this option will be here too? (whether its store on a server somewhere or locally).
There is a 3.02 patch to Lords of Magic SE that fixed all the bugs in the game, added better scroll speed controls, input wide screen fix, and other general improvements. This definitely was one of my favorite games and was the first thing i thought of when i saw Elemental. I even played through it again just a few weeks ago. My only complaint is the game is kind of easy even on hard. Though it was kind of funny playing it on windows 7. Someone should buy the rights of
Check out this list. I tend to agree with it. http://bestcovery.com/node/12398 Though No.3 is imo the best gaming laptop you can get for cheap. It's an ASUS with a GTX 260m which is deace.
Btw, to those who didn't preorder through impulse like myself, but just didn't it online through the link on the preorder page. The support people told me that once the beta is released that we will recieve a SN through the email address we supplied (the one you recieved your invoice through) and have to input it through impulse. If you open impulse, go to my games, and click register product you will notice that there is an entry for Elemental: War of Magic.
Sins and Demigod also had Collector's Editions. However, if you pre-ordered the digital-only version (which can't be collector's since there is no box), there was no way to upgrade to the CE box. However, it has been stated somewhere that "someday there may be an upgrade button" that would allow people to upgrade to the retail (and thus collector's) box. For the record, Stardock only sells the un-collector's edition box a
