Sorry to hear this, but i do hope that as things go on you'll be able to restart your goal of having 2 teams working on games and that goal won't be to far away from now.
Steam Support was significantly improved this year. Most tickets now get response within 1 business day.
i can support that, had an issue with a 4pack deal on dogfighter (ended up with 1 copy of dogfighter and 3 gifts of borderlands somehow. all fixed within 24 hours of me lodging a ticket For all those concerned about if a company goes bust...even alot of disk based copies with their online drm (read ubisoft)...if they went bust..you have about the same c
now that broadband in basically everywhere, i don't mind, personally...i actually like steam, never had an issue with it, worked like a charm when i got HL2, the worst thing i can say is that with so many games on it, there can be days when i go to do something, and steams busy trying to update about a billion games (though again, i could simply turn off automatic updates for a game, if i didn't enjoy steam doing my job for me). I do think competition is good though, and with another se
ANTI-HIJACK!!! Thanks frogboy, really looking foward to the full 1.01 release of the game, and hope your looking foward to your time off to relax and mod /end-anti-hijack
Read this thread here https://forums.elementalgame.com/364285 the part your looking for is "First and foremost, each time you run the game it will generate a log named debug.err . This file will always be located at My Documents\My Games\Elemental"
The packs is a bug reading from one of frogboys posts, though can't remember which, so i guess the next release we'll only be able to do one of those Besides... many rings arn't that OP. Think of the forces you could have created with that 800gold, your sacrificing building a small army with multiple attacks per turn for a 3ish increase to your personal attack. In multiplayer, i can guess who would win a battle ^^
i tried for 2 hours and couldn't get it to happen then i tried for about 1/2 hour and got my OOM error the only difference between the 2 times was i saw a npc battle happen while in 3d view, and got the oom error on the next turn. In both i did heaps of auto battles, though all from the cloth map, the memory would get to 1600mb's, but never crash, it would hit there then drop back to 1580 Is there a difference for people to whether they sp
maybe shards could be there to give spells of the same element a boost, rather than being required. eg Spell Damage = BaseDamage(3-5) + Int/2 + Shards(Amount under controll X 3) This way some spells could always be cast, but would be useless by comparison when facing a sov who has controll of 5 shards of 1 element That being said, i havn't had much of a chance to really look over my current spell book and see what i'm missing because of lack of shards, eas
Sounds awesome, can't wait to get my hands on the new beta...espeically the map editor:D
it's like paper money...has no real value but can buy anything. So long as people have a need for something they can't simply get by producing or taking, then trading one resource for DC and then DC for what they're missing, it'll work. Some players might prefer not to trade at all, but for those who are more open to diplomacy, this will be great, and i look foward to seeing how it's taken further:)
Wooo, variable mismatch, gotta love them. Drives me nuts when i make those bugs in code, though i fail at finding them normally so i'm Raging by the time i finally fix it to the point i have to go do something else, glad to see you see the funny side of it^^
I have to disagree on a simple auto-upgrade, having units decide to upgrade themselves for no reason would be annoying, especially if i 'upgraded' my foot soldiers to archers or archers to cavelry. Sometimes i'm building at the edge of what i can produce in metal and materials as well, and considering the games happiness is putting you indept, i don't like the thought of being put 100's of metal in dept late game in the middle of a war. Also i like having stronger and weaker units
Not join the drugs discussion(nothing worthwhile to add), but accidental murder would be better termed as manslaughter( http://www.lectlaw.com/def2/m013.htm ). To convict someone of murder you need to prove their was prior thinking and planning of it, manslaughter needs none of that, in an example casesuch as zoning out while driving across a crossing, killing someone, which is bad, but not actually intended to kill.<
they talk about it being a TBS in the first paragraph of the review
One strategy title on the release calender to attempt to bring something new to the table, is Elemental: War Of Magic . Made by Stardock, of Galactic Civilizations fame, Elemenal: War Of Magic is a Turn-Based strategy game filled with swords, castles, dungeons and creatures of myth.
ahhh...they 'may' have edited their review somewhat after legions of stardock fanboys
Whenever i think of enya i remember the old ansett australia ad's when that airline still existed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3Yo58-6sc8 Love the music, though the add i remember was about 2 minutes long with no noise other than enya's music. ...and this is coming from someone obsessed with heavey bass dance tracks:P
just a general bug/issue/suggestion list, not being negatively critical of the game, just pointing out stuff where i can in the hope it's of use, as it stands i'm having fun against your wishes with the beta:). Also, since it's so close to when your likely to release the next build, some/most/all/'stuff-i-havn't-even-thought-of-yet' have probably already been mentioned and fixed, if so....weee....great for me when your next update comes out:D <span style="text-deco

Delayed or not, ready or not, the time to judge is on release day and not one day sooner, till then, we have stardocks previous track record and trust to go on:)
GalCiv didn't have starbases, Sins had a different economy and was missing one of the
any chance any of those details still exist in an archived form on a forum somewhere, i never knew about stardock till after i got sins, and didn't bother with the forums till i pre-ordered element. *gwaka-rage* what country you at, i'm coming round for an impromptu LAN to steal your patch off you ^^ (still stuck at the same point and attempted restarting the impulse client and download multiple times) Edit: kept having to cancel the download completely then let it go again from the beginning...and it just finally managed to reach 100%. Not sure what happened, just happy i got the patch:)
Is this in a old game or a new game...and if old game, does starting a new one fix it? (or going from what kyro posted while i was posting....does restarting the game and starting a new game fix it:P)
In the circle you used to click on there is now 2 buttons that appear when you hover over it. The right hand one is the equipment button
same...though i assumed it was because i'm maxing out my connection with other downloads (yay steam sale still killing my connection:P) Seems to manage to get anywhere from a ~100kb to ~1mb Oh well...either the server is under to much load from people downloading(good thing to my mind:P), or considering it seemed to be up almost before frogboy had posted, maybe it hadn't finished replicating to all the other download servers. Edit: seems to be stuck at 4.
