Greetings all. I am one of those who pre-ordered WoM and found myself disappointed in it. I stayed away a while, waiting for FE and thought I would check in and see how it is going. Download, install, and away we go. Tutorial done. I guess. I start my first game. I decide to go down to easy since it has been a while and I don't really get what's going on. Bam. Sovereign dead. My favorite tactical bug is the ghosts of my fallen warriors attacking the enemy! For example, a squad of my soldiers attack an enemy squad, and my loyal warriors are killed on the first retaliate. Yet, there it is, a cursor with the cross swords, emanating from their former location. I get two more attacks, but since my guys are already dead, the enemy gets not retaliation and my phantom soldiers kill them! Good times.

One thing to remember when you build your sov is to BUY SOME EQUIPMENT as soon as you can. All the premade ones have starting stuff (like a staff) which you will not unless you pay for it with your character building points. It took me forever to realize why my poor custom sov. was getting eaten with his 0 attack value.

Aside from the random Sov. getting killed in a battle he had no buisness dying in for auto-resolve, my biggest complaint would be the speed of Tactical combat. I love the idea of tactical combat (such as MoM, AoW, HoMM and so on), but they had options to speed up animations, enemy movies, and so on, so it is not such a freaking tedious trudge just to make sure your archers fire, your sov. does die, and even the most basic tactical thinking is applied.
