So I leveled up my soverign to level 56, there are no traits left for him to pick in either the general tree or the mage tree. Now he's stuck on the level up screen as the game wants me to pick a trait, but there's nothing left to pick... How do I exit out of this screen?

I'm playing as the kingdom. I figured it out that if you mod the entire structure, you get 2 shrines, but if you just mod a part of it, you get only 1. Not sure which line in the xml code that causes the duplications. I have moded items, and that was not the behavior there so I guess it was a suprise to me that it's this way when you mod improvements.

@solidsmooky Start by playing around a bit, definately read the forum guides on the race you choose to play, those help to get you a feel of what kind of strengths and weaknesses your race have. You won't be wow'd by it's graphics, but you will definately enjoy it if you like deep strategy games.

After saving (and exiting game, not sure if it is related), and came back after loading my previous save, I all of a sudden noticed I have 2 random shards near my settlement that was not there before. I did not research additional techs to discover more shards yet so that can't be the cause. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Also if you know how to post a picture (ie screenshot) on this forum, please let me know. Thanks.</

The built kingdom air shrine graphic is glitched. it's just a patch of black dirt. Took a look at the actual file it references K_Air_Shrine_01 by using the in game editor, it shows up borked, just a patch of black dirt. Also will someone tell me how to post a picture on these forums please. Thanks.

There is either a typo in the description or this improvement is not giving what is says it gives. The description says 25% reduced build time for improvements. The bonus is 20% increase to mateials produced by this settlement. btw, how do I put a screen shot in here? I have the picture in say c:\games\bug.jpg but when I try to insert it using insert image and input that path into the link url, it does not load the image.

@Kryo Thanks for the screen shot. I think the reason I can't see that in my games is that when your settlement start to get alot of different resources, some of them scrolls off the name plate. Can't load the saves anymore due to the patch, but will post a screen shot when I get to that point again.

The problem I have with spells missing squades that have higher defense values is this: since dex is the defense stat in this game you can explain try to dodge out of the way of an incomming fireball to "reduce" damage, but it shouldn't be a complete miss. Also when you stack units together, defence go higher as of now, but since the squads are closer packed, it should actually be easier for me to *hit* with a fireball. So I just loaded up my game and saw that the shards increase essence by 900%, if you click on the medalion for the shard and open up the book, that's what it says... not sure if its actually 900%, don't have time to test now. Just wondering if anyone else is seeing this and have seen the effects of it.

Say if I want to make a new resource tile that gives me 3 metals per turn. I create the 3 tiles first using the in game editor: large_metal_deposit for the tile on the map large_metal_deposit_build for the tile during construction large_metal_deposit_mine for the constructed mine. so now how do I actually tie these tiles in with the metal resource?

So is there a limit on how many improvements I can build for a settlement? My settlement just reached 100 pop. and I wanted to build some more houses. I have all the required resources but I can't build it, in fact I can't build anything. Am I missing something?
