So, I cleared out everything in that jungle wild-lands (the one that starts with the letter A), and the spawn point for the big guy just seems to disappear, and it stays as wild-lands. I did this last night, before .91, and today, after .91 (created multiple save files, tried it a few times, that sort of thing). I would link the save files, but for the life of me, I can't remember where to find them, and I don't see a sticky with advice on how to do that. I'm qui

Other suggestion... it's a panther, give it the extra movement. By the time in the game you get the quest, everyone else likely has a mount. it's still balanced.

So, read some of the posts, all thoughts about cheating aside..... monsters destroying cities is silly most of the time, and annoying almost all the time. Sometimes there will be strong monsters near all (or at least most) of your expansion locations, and they will go to town on your cities. It would be much less frustrating if A- the cite could still function, in a reduced capacity, for a while, or at least B- If every square that was part of the citie wasn'

Umm.... that really sucks, then. I was WONDERING how they handled that.... I figured it would be more like Civ games, if you were trying to build it and spomebody else beat you to it, too bad!

I did a search of the forums to see if the item popped up in anther thread, and it was actually mentioned in a change log thing, as one of the new items added, and in the change log, it says it increases the wearer's damage with fire spells. the description in game really makes it look like it makes you more vulnerable, lol.

So, I researched the tech that allows me to build Erog's tower, and it was not available to be built. I assumed this meant that a nation I hadn't encountered had built it, and that's why I didn't receive a notification. However, about 30 turns, later, I got a notification that another nation had just built Erog's tower... sooo... wtf? it's worth one fame per turn, it's even MORE awesome now! I have the Auto-save from about 5 turns before it

hightower to get more crystals primarily, stables anywhere that my units tend to pass through a lot, and near end game, the + growth one will come in handy to get some of those slow growing cities larger, faster. edit: by "crystals" I meant elemental shards. Also sometime to close a gap between a city not contiguous to my capital, and the ones that are.

The text on the ring of Ash almost gives the impression that you will TAKE more damage from enemy fire attacks if you wear it. Could use a quick touch up, to make it more clear that the wearer deals more damage with fire abilities.

So, I captured a city from the enemy one turn, and then at the end of the turn, when I hit the end turn button, I was notified that my new city was under attack!!!... by a lone pioneer. maybe the AI was originally planning on moving her into the city, and it didn't re-evaluate that decision when I captured the city first?

Oh, and for winning the fight, I got a brutal Broadsword as part of the loot (there were some syndicate guys I had to kill for that quest, I believe). It's an awesome sword... so awesome that still, many hours of game play later, I still don't have a L 12 hero to use it. Seems to be a pretty awesome reward for a medium difficulty combat. Maybe something a bit less OPed, and a bit more usable would be more appropriate?

Hey, so I received some completely random quest to go save some dude, and the flavor text was saying he would join my service if i did this. Well, when I accepted the quest, I got a group of Axemen called Krondrin's squires (very handy), but even after completing the quest, nobody joined me. Though to be honest, I needed the extra troop more than I wanted another hero to steal XP anyway :)

In a game where I was totally capturing enemy cities left and right (including capitals, so maybe that had something to do with it), one of my very first expansion cities, which had been connected to my capital for many, many turns, would keep see-sawing back and forth between receiving the "territory not connected to capital" penalty, and not. It was very weird. I'll try to look out for it to happen again next time I resume that game, is there a file I should grab if I see th

Both for taming Ascian, and taming an Underbeast thing bobber, I got XP. both of them were tamed using a collar (the super special one for Ascian, obviously). Is this intentional?

4 Replies 11,200 Views

Ditto, Ascian seems very slow for a panther type character. Also I was able to equip her (him?) with a belt of speed, the idea of a panther-creature wearing a belt seemed silly....
My other suggestion would be to make the fame requirements for champions higher so they don't come so often, maybe get rid of the 10 fame to get your first champ.
Hey, no way! That first champ is a big part of the early game! Taking away that first champ, from the tower of dominion, would really slow down early game play, I feel. Even Elemental and FE pretty much AL
@ Markon... so you're saying if you use your commander in the field as a really crappy mage he'll make a few levels. This is true, but the entire time you're leveling your commander he is not reducing unrest. By the time he's leveled enough to be a powerful city defender and governor at the same time... the game should be functionally over.
Actually, what I was saying was, IF it is
One possible solution: give each champion a unique tree in addition to the generic ones, some champs start out with unique promotions like Loremaster or Skilled Swordsman, let them go up those trees whatever they pick.
Regarding expansion: you should scout further around city sites. Hooray, that's at least the second bug I have helped with! (First was for FE) But... didn't we want to maybe keep that one in, it was pretty funny..... Maybe I can get hm one more time, in a game where monsters DON'T crush everything I have, so I can enjoy the silliness :)
I would like to see maybe the placement based on hp and armour - units with higher hp+armour at the front, units with lower hp+armour at the middle or back. This would help one protect damaged units, too - I hate being unable to keep a damaged unit out of a fight, even though everyone else can handle it just fine.
I like this idea, a unit with low HP being placed a bit farther bac
