I'm currently playing the campaign and it drive me crazy that this mage Darwella I picked up is always standing right in the middle of the front row because she has a melee staff equipped. This gets her quite often killed in the first round when facing fast moving high initiative monsters. For now I gave her a bow so she get placed behind the melee fighters, but is there no smart unit placement that put mages in the back row? If there is no mod maybe someone can point me how to mod

1€ ≠ $1 The SD store sells the DLC for $4.99, but since I bought the Steam version it directs me to the Steam Store where they want me to pay €4.99 ($6.54) for it. Even it's not that much I goes against my gut when companies do that.
The Ai instantaneously finish the current building when you load a game save? Did I get this correctly? That would be a severe case of "karma is bitch" for a save/reload cheater. ^^
I don't think it's OP if you play Ironman (no saving unless quitting), my preferred mode since Alpha Centauri. How every I'm newbie on this game. So my opinion means probably shit. Then an average ~25% resist chance and 40 mana cost are a strong balance factor at the start of the game. Later in the game when your spell mastery and mana income make casting tame cheap and reliable you have little use for it. That's how I saw it in my current second game. First time I tri

Another way to fix this, although it requires us to redo the movie files to repeat the last screen for a long period of time until the devs fix the actual problem. By the way alt pauses all movies in the game.[/quote] Good to know you can pause movies with the Al
I would hide behind the actress playing Sahara Conner in the TV Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles, which also happen to be Queen Cersei Lannister in Games of Thrones. In one case she is a badass with a shotgun, in other case people in front of her tend to involuntarily "catch" knifes with their backs.
This is now the second time today I read someone had let go all hope only to be saved from an impossible situation by auto-resolve. Interesting.

Randomness is the enemy of skill. It's interesting to see than more skilled a player is than more randomness hurts him, and the crappier a player is, the more he benefits from luck. In the first place, a skilled player is less likely to get into situations where he must depend on luck to survive, thus it is more likely randomness will screw him in a situation where would have prevailed otherwise. On the other side a bad player will find himself more often in sticky situati
Exactly, this behavior leads to exposing the weaker members of the group instead to shield them. Especially when the enemy has fast moving high initiative units. To add insult to the injury two of my companions in the group are Ironeer women. He is literally hiding behind women. The shame, oh the shame. I should made him into an assassin instead a defender.
This is what I actually did found myself doing. Turning off the music. As I find myself still learning the game I tend to switch screen a lot. Inspecting every monster I meet, reading the blurbs and learning his abilities. If it weren't for the this loud Altar theme relatively to the map theme music I could live with the constant music change when switching screens. Although I find this feature rather annoying and I think there not many games out there that have an individual musi
I playing the Altar's faction. My sovereign Lord Relias is leading a band of merry men, but despite being the first unit in the army, having the highest health points, the highest defense and being in overall the strongest unit in the group, he is always found at the flank or sometimes the rear. He should take point in the middle leading the charge. I find it strange he is acting like a wuss. He is really embarrassing me over here.
First I want to say what a great game, and I am happy to see an other worthy successor of Master of Magic besides Warlock Master of the Arcane. I will certainly spent a few hundred hours in the world of Elemental. I just started to got into the game and so I regularly inspect with great interest the detail page of every new object or monster I encounter. Unfortunately everytime the detail page comes up it not only change the background music it also seems to play twice as loud. Is the
