[1.02] why do we have only 5 seconds to read Wildland text?

Seriously, after 5-8 seconds, the screen close, I barely have time to read it or permeate myself with the ambiance :) that the screen close by itself!

I agree with this issue, but currently the fix is when these screens pop up you can press the alt key to pause the animation (movie) and you can read at your leasure. Another way to fix this, although it requires us to redo the movie files to repeat the last screen for a long period of time until the devs fix the actual problem.

By the way alt pauses all movies in the game.

Good to know you can pause movies with the Alt key. Until now I went into a quick save, reload & curse spree to read the whole text.

Is that somewhere mentioned in the manual? I must have missed that.

It was a bug reported during the beta... But it's not really a bug but a feature.
