Ideas and Suggestions: If this hasn't been mentioned yet The monster resources (dragons, ogres, drath, etc...) you can get in the game should be upgradeable and/or the units should have the ability to level up. At the moment they are not worth the cost of training. Maybe click on the resource and pay X amount of gold and/or resources to upgrade. This would allow additional units from the resource with new abilities and/or new stats. Hopefully I have just missed this somewhere

You said what I have seen so far and have spared me from writing stardock a long love letter about elemental. The game has flaws but it is still really really fun. In fact I haven't had near enough sleep since this game came out. I'm also looking at this game long term and it has me excited. Patching and expansion packs will make an already deep and fun game even better. It has the potential to be a computer classic. Not sure if some of the things I see are bugs or somethin

Quest Idea: 4. Here is an idea for an end game quest chain. a. After two or three quests collecting ancient material for a scholar in your main city (should have several quests leading into these quests) he informs you that he has uncovered the possible location of a book that would make the channeler far more powerful than any creature or channeler in the world. This is of course located in an ancient ruin full of traps and rare powerful c
Creature Idea: As a neutral faction I would like to see beast men. They could be the red headed step children of the fallen. Not real ambitious, lacking in grand intellect and a low population but they make good mercenaries and soldiers. Maybe there little town could be conquered and you could have a couple of units produced out of that town. That is of course as long as the beast man population could support them. Would like them to look something like my avatar. In fact I'm kinda ho
Quest Idea: appending to 3. When the daemon becomes an open threat a quest could open up for all players to take him down. The player who topples him should get a considerable reward (perhaps a large diplomacy boost in addition to loot, spells, materials, etc).
Quest Idea: 3. Somewhere is the last couple of pages I read an interesting idea about mercenary quests. I think this could be a brilliant idea. Say you have the option of contacting a mystery agent who is the middle man for anonymous player made quests and also hiring some of the mercenary units in the game. These player made quests would include attacking certain enemy player objectives or obtaining certain materials. The player could specify the objective and the reward. T
Quest Idea: 2. A certain natural animal has a sweet tooth(this could be a random natural animal each game). After helping an old man and or old woman you are given this information as a reward (ability unlocked). If you have a large enough city or a certain building you can buy a sweet for the animal (think this should be a minimal cost). Reward: After tracking the animal down you use the sweet like a magic item on the battle field. This natural animal is now part
Quest Idea: 1. Escort and finance prospector Sholley's e x pedition into the mountains. Will have to defend against X number of monsters (should require a fare sized force to overcome) and contribute X amount of money. Reward: Find vein of rare metal. This area can either be turned into a mining camp or X amount of this rare metal is rewarded
I have to say it makes me glad to hear you guys are taking your time and making sure the product is the best you can deliver. This is the same design philosophy as blizzard and it has paid off for them. No one I know remembers how long it took to make a game but they do remember if it was a good or bad game.
Nice write up reapy54 :)
Umber look cool. Hoping they have an easier time getting hold of Umderdroths than the other factions[e digicons][/e]
That didn't go west with him?
Love it, good stuff chomping at the bit for the empires of the fallen. Really starting to show some good depth.[e digicons][/e] So the Altar are the remnants of Emperor Amarian III's empire?
It's the 15th let see some world of Elemental [e digicons][/e]
"You don't need elves to picture the ideal aristocracy." I am not disagreeing with this. Having the ideal aristocracy be another race helps suspension of disbelieve when they lack the less noble things that make us human. I think that if you wanted to mold a race based upon the most ideal and beautiful image of 1920s and 30s aristocracy in Great Britian you will come up with something very close to Tolkien elves. Maybe not pointy ears but the sleek build, manerisms and noble id
Turning fantasy tropes around is not necessarily a good idea. Most fantasy races such as elves, dwarves and orcs are psychologically very powerful. They represent a mythological people with an idea about humanity in the real world built around them. If you make orcs good then really they aren't orcs anymore, they're something else. Having a race that is brutal cruel monstrous and ugly is something I want. Elves are nobility incarnate, they represent in many ways the ideal pictu
I like words but um Frogboy mentioned wisps. Can we see them? [e digicons]O:)[/e] Just thought I would ask.
I don't think this is crazy at all. The overall picture is alittle goofy but the idea of fasting, dieting and natural fitness routines have been around for a long long time. They also tend to work very well but they are hard to maintain.
Please oh please oh please have summonable monsters and creatable constructs (golems). [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e]

I really like climbers idea about large organized city forces with simpler magic and small elite nature forces with more complex magic. Could make for some very interesting games if designed well.
For the large swamp animal I would go with a shortened version of Ōsanshōuo (this is the Japanese name for the gaint salamanders of that country which can grow up to 5ft long). How about naming this creature an Osan ? Not only do I think this would be a
When I was thinking of the limbs thing I was kinda thinking HP lovecraft. The fallen are described as unnatural they were built for war more or less (abominations). So I figure if you're making a living weapon and you have little regard for nature why not throw some huge arms on the side of that quadraped, have an Octopus like creature with an exoskeleton that can walk on land or a hulking biped with mismatching limbs. I can see some natural beings having different body de
