I think sovereign offensive casting for certain sovereigns like Tyrant needs a huge boost early and mid game. He feels incredibly weak right now. Perhaps early game buildings which pump up magic generation from shards.
Enjoying the new game Stardock, but now that it seems impossible to complete my game I might be turned off for a while until the issues are smoothed out. In my current game, as far as I can tell the lieutenants never spawned or were somehow killed off by neutral camps. I have outpost coverage of the whole map and explorers everywhere. This mod is awesome! I'm playing as the druids right now. A quick question about the new spell classes, I don't think the random maps are producing nature, battle, or beast shards. How do I increase my faction's power in these classes? Is this intentional or just not working right now?
From a gameplay perspective, I'm really excited about the direction SD is taking this project. From a UI perspective to be honest it already looks cleaner than the somewhat clunky fallen enchantress experience. However from a visual perspective the whole thing seems "off". I know it's still an early build but the artwork seem cartoony. Also the terrain is bland and although it conveys the "ruined" aspect well, I don't like the bland mix of green and brown tiles. I

Hi FE team, Really liking FE 1.30 so far. One big AI bug I noticed is that perhaps the tribute decision is based on % difference in power score without a base score/turn requirement? In the very early game, I had 2 champions and a score of 7, while Magnar had a score of 5, and as soon as he met me, he offered me 100 gold and tribute. This effectively locked me ahead for the rest of the game, since I was able to rush a pioneer with the gold and have a base increase in income. F

To be honest I was a little bit disappointed with Fallen Enchantress, and I still haven't played it anywhere near as much as I played Fall From Heaven II or the civ series games, or even any of the total wars. This post/FAQ has managed to get me excited again. However, I had impossibly high hopes for Fallen Enchantress so I won't get too hyped up. One thing I would really like to see improved is faction uniqueness, and I think the champion system is a great way to start that.<
Definitely stick with random maps, and if you're looking for a change try some of the excellent mods. The campaign is short, bland, and boring! I beat it but ended up wishing I could get those hours of my life back.

Maybe this is being talked about in other threads, but what are your future ideas for the direction of this mod? Also, I kind of wish the FE modding section was laid out more like civfanatics forums so you could see all the discussions and threads relating to a mod in one place. Please note that I haven't played any mods yet, but since yours seems to be a complete overhaul of the game maybe you're interested in other ideas for changes as well. I played through the camp
I had the same thing happen to me with champions replicating and actually had Relias replaced on the battlefield with a champion replica. For me, the issue resolved itself when I quit out of fallen enchantress and rebooted the game.

I can confirm this bug happening to me back in 0.982. I haven't played the newest version yet but sounds like it's stubbornly sticking around!
