I think he realizes that FE is an expansion pack guys. The question is, is that if FE is considered a "whole new game", will the gameplay drastically change.
I'm proficient enough to build my own computer and maintain it, but I know very little of programming and the act of hacking goes completly over my head. The attack on the Playstation Network has got me wondering about the hacking process. How does one find out he has been hacked? In this case I suppose the user's account data was copied so it isn't as though something is missing, like if a bank is hacked and money is transferred. Effectively, in my eyes at least, someone
I really want this game. Never wanted minecraft, but I want this. My only gripe is the Final Fantasy-eque avatar designs. I feel like they could have taken the time to just make a new sprite rather than reuse the tired old FF sprites I've seen a million times. Cave Story had nice sprites. I guess maybe it has to do with being older. I think the sprites are homage to FF, but I've never been into FF like that since I wasn't around when the early ones came out. <p
Probably the only application Chrome possesses that Opera doesn't that I'm interested in. It would be very helpful in finding things a user doesn't know how to spell, like foreign names. Took me a very long time back in highschool to find Amiri Baraka.
Would you like them to do a full review or just do an "out of five"-type thing?
Guys. Guys, come on. It's in red font. Doesn't matter what game he's referring to. Shit just got real.
All-American? I say Frogboy and the team should start naming releases after presidents. Cue obligatory "Nixon and Bush releases will be catastrophic" jokes
The fundamental problem, the natal defect in the game, is that it is based on A Song of Ice and Fire, and not on Hammer Slammers.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the game where you can build a ship the size of a galaxy, then fill it with ships the size of planets? And on and on, like those Russian dolls...
Like Whiskey, I'mma get mines but i don't know when. I want Portal 2 so bad because it offers the freedom of movement that 3-d platformers of the ps1/ps2 days had. You know, games like Crash Bandicoot, Ape Escape, Jak and Daxter. Games that make you feel like an acrobat rather a tank. I think it's good for us PC gamers to pick this up (if you can afford it of course) because (I'm assuming) most of us here are strategy gamers. This is the co
Why do you think I dislike Elemental? I play it often. And the sarcasm/emote deal isn't cute.
Mmph. I don't understand why people get all uppity whenever someone makes a thread like this. Not everyone is happy with the product they bought. Even with whatever free expansions they're getting. In the same way that they can't force you guys into hating the game you can't force them into liking it.
When I look at these images I can just hear that annoying OoM error sound... -stutter-DINK ...restart game at turn 300+... -stutter-DINK ...rinse repeat
You know, other than the bug fixes I'd really like some new music. That's what makes this game unplayable for me
Merlin, in my eyes, is Stargate for Fantasy nerds. I like it, but I don't catch it often.
Thanks guys, I was wondering about something else now. I go to the lexicanum every once in a while hoping to read something new about the CSM chapters that went missing or rouge but neither follow Chaos or the Emperor, as Outlaw mentioned. Are any of these chapters powerful players in the universe? Are any of these chapters 'good' (as in if you had to choose between crazy Chaos and less-crazy SM, you'd choose to hang out with SM...). Also, I was going to pick up a book or
Haha, yeah I tried multiplayer. Had to shelve that too though because I got my ass handed to me. I can't win for losing, haha. But seriously, even though I stopped playing multiplayer, I did pick up the skirmish mode against the A.I. and every oncei n a while I do a practice battle with a bunch of units I normally wouldnt use. It's really helpful. Like I said in my previous post though, I'm really just scared of all the other clans attacking me at once. Other than that, it
The Taus spread their doctrine, the Eldar attempt to revive their race, the Astartes try to cleanse the galaxy for the benefit of spiritual purity, etc., etc. Have I gotten some of that right? I'm a Warhammer pc game-fan but that's it. I have very little knowledge of the entire franchise/lore. My question is, what is it that Chaos Space marines strive for? Are they just interested in murdering and corrupting as many beings as possible? Sort of cheapens them in my mind a bit, i
I've had to stop playing this. I always like the playing field to be even in my video games - because having fun is more important to me than overcoming the challenge. This doesn't mean I want to fight battles with the same number of troops on each side or something similar. I simply prefer that all players are subject to the same rules. So in my game I have maybe ten provinces; Imagawa or somebody has 13-15 and voraciously taking any tract of land I can.
Me, I just don't get why basebuilding is falling away. Most features that are watered down or exist as a response to an older feature are only there because the feature was too either too difficult for the majority to grasp or to 'streamline' the experience. Look at Dragon Age 2. Not exactly a bad game in it's own right but compared to DA:O it's lacking a lot in the tactical aspect. I don't need to go through a list of examples... being pc gamers you all know what i
When Elemental was first released everyone was pissed and Stardock apologized and vowed to make the game better. Even proactively giving away expansions. The company has worked with the community in those times taking suggestions and criticisms and creating a much better game. But now that we're so far in to Elemental's life as a game I feel like the dynamic between the developers and the forum-goers have changed. I keep reading, every other week I check this place, a "please put this
Obligatory disclaimer! If the ideas described herein have been described before; apologies, apologies. I believe one way to make combat more interesting is to create specific weapons ranges and limits. Obligatory comparison! I was thinking similar to Final Fantasy Tactics. In fact, exactly the same. Looking at the current weapons in the game, I was thinking spears could do two straight squares of ranged damage without being able to attack diagonally. Swords would have full ran
How is it an RPG and not a Fantasy game and vice-versa? Do these labels not overlap?
The game just needs better AI. Theres enough content there just no challenge.
