Diplomacy and AI behavior is broken in this game. But do not let that deter you from enjoying it.

You can't build outpost too close from each other. Once a city is settled, the land around it improves as the last poster said. That spawns new tiles including settleable ones. TIP: At the start of the game, do CTRL + U to show the whole map. That's how the AI plays anyways.
OMG where I have been??? If I don't click on my old forum posts I don't even know about this!!! Downloading right now this is so exciting!!!!!!! Thank you Stardock!!!!!!!!!
2. The bold part is "incorrect" (In that it relates to the title indicating the AI [is] Generating Insane Research). The Research number you see is not the Research per Season, it's the Total Research done by the AI so far. Assuming you're on Season 120, then the AI would have researched, on average, 17 per Season (2000/120). Obviously, its current per Season number is probably much higher, say 50, whereas its initial per Seas
Dear Developers of FE:LH - I was wondering if there will be anything else left to do for Legendary Heroes. I have 591 hours on this game, I really like it, but looks like all attention has gone to Sorcerer King, which I don't like to the very least. Will there be anything else (DLCs, or add-ons, expansions) for this game in the distant future? Or this is all for it? Currently this is the only game that entertains me, to be honest.
Recently I noted the AI casting a lot of Destiny's Insight spell to level their sovs. Because I noticed it towards the end of the game, I didn't bother about it. But I just discovered it casting it every single turn by turn 120+ and checked their vitals... To my surprise, the AI has over 2,000 research which obviously enables it to rip through multiple instances of Mana %. Have anyone else noticed this? Here is a screenshot for reference. The character has only 2 settl
This is obviously off-topic, but is it possible to share shard control within Alliances? If not, would this DLC be able to address this? Like, if I have one water and my ally has one water, both of us would have two water, thus eliminating the desire to un-ally just to get the shard...
What do I like the LEAST about LH: The graphics are childish, cartoonish and plainly ugly AI is in a perpetual Alliance pact with Dragons and every other monster out there Diplomacy is almost linear. Peace, Non-agression, Alliance. Very creative! AI doesn't use half of the game features. (Outposts, unrest...) Battlefields lack realism, line of sight, blockable terrain, etc. Skaths!!!!!!
Am I the only one that reads "Ourannes" as "Our Anus"?
It must be noted however, that Endless Legend game is still in Alpha state, so much of the diplomacy and battle modules are not fully developed. It's not that I am defending it either, but everyone needs a just chance no?
What? No DLC tomorrow.... oh well so, here's my comment: Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo *fart*
So after playing a while with the game and unit stats, this is what I came up with after reading some people's thoughts about sovereigns wielding bows: http://angelhomepainting.com/images/1395608075.jpg - I truly like heroes with bows so late game this is what it looks like. Also, the "Defender" class has an ability called "Invincible" that I'm curren
Well, thank you for your more... appropriate answer, sir. I have now concluded the Commander is the most useful of the professions throughout the game. I was using an Assassin with a bow but it seems like bows have been added to the game as the very last item before release.... not even there if you ask me. Too many swords as rewards, if you will. I also agree on the other classes being "outgunned" by advanced troops. I also like to train high dama
Maybe I will disappoint you, but I do play up to "Challenging" difficulty. I have played on "Expert", but with a custom faction based on Resoln of course and against a single opponent (or more, but just one on Expert). On "Expert", the lack of armor on Resoln becomes an issue. Also, you have to kind of be fond of Shadow Bolt to debuff the pesky Gilden and others with their magic resistance. An enemy debuffed means Contagion and Curse + Blindness + Graveseal which equals fun. <span sty
Auto resolve is messed up, yeah. Sometimes it works to your advantage, sometimes it doesn't. Once, my army of "strong" threat was destroyed by 3 level 3 air shrills on a-resolve. By the looks, they each inflected massive damage, impossinle for a creature that level.
Let me know if you're interested, I can link you.
Please do. I play Resoln custom tailored. Appreciated!
I've never tried the henchmen. Seems like a popular unit.... almost everybody in the forum talks about henchmen.
I've found that a Commander class hero giving "accuracy" and "initiative" bonuses to an army coupled with a Defender class hero giving "defense" and "spell resist" bonuses to an army is very effective. When not fighting, the Commander can be assisting around towns that need to....rest. I could be wrong, but my games don't consist of battles every single turn.
Hi all I know this comes in 4 months after. But I ran into this thread while searching for something else. Being that Resoln is the only race I play (I have played others though) I must admit I have grown to know almost all aspects to it. The very reason why they have the spiders is for the webbing and confusion as is as vital and no one here in this thread has ever mentioned how important it is. Resoln lacks armor, but also it has ways of "delayi
There are a couple or more issues that I've encountered that I want to add. I don't know if someone affiliated to the "bugs squashing" department can take note. Also I don't know if these issues I've been reporting are being of relevance and/or previously reported. Here I go: When "Wither" is cast on units that have "Dirge of Ceresa" applied, those units take additional damage. I don't know if this was intended. Sometimes, when you switch from "Tra
Thanks for this. I'm partially color blind you know.... I use "very high" and it doesn't bothers me at all. I need very high contrast items around my life. Thanks again.
You can upgrade your units when the better tech becomes available. Petsonally I design my units to my preference to fill "roles" within battles. I reccomend you do the same. Also upgrading units cost resources and gildar depending what type of upgrade.
I wish to add to the issue; I play Empire-only factions. The problem worsens when you cast "Blindness" on a target. Almost seems like the target gets an increase in Accuracy..... just try it for yourself and you will see.
Hello wise gamers, I have been wondering what other people's preferences is for the path for your sovereign? I've encountered that having a "Defender" works for the extra hit-points, a "Warrior" is good for the attack and the "Mage" is good for the obvious. But I'd like to know your thoughts on the "Assassin", as a sovereign and the Commander.... as a war-oriented sovereign. What is the path you choose as your starting hero? What poin
