Suggestion: throw some of the chars into the sandbox game as extra heroes.
They did that for the EWOM version of this stuff, though sadly none of the characters already present treated them as something unusual.

I am no longer seeing city names on the cloth map. Is there some key I may have accidentally pressed to turn them off? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and no luck. I certainly hope this was not removed but for now I am going to assume I did something to mess my game up. SO anyways to get city names on the cloth map back? The only thing I recall doing was downloading heavenfalls mod to bring back the leaders of umber and gilden but I highly doubt that had a

As the title states how do they work, what triggers them to continually spawn monsters? The reason I ask is I have noticed that if you kill the "guard" of the monster lair but leave the lair itself no new monsters will spawn from it. Also I have noticed that as soon as your or another factions influence covers it, the lair also ceases spawning monsters. So basically you need to leave the lair guardians alive inorder for a lair to spawn new monsters, and the lair must be in uncla
I read a post a bit back that the AI did cast the spell of making in someone's game. It was a complaint thread because on a large map it was difficult to reach it in time. I play with those turned off.
I had the ai cast the spell of making once too, luckily for me I cast it one season before they did :D

It was an excuse for you to mess around with the create a sov function, both factions are still in the game. https://forums.elementalgame.com/437836 There is the source code for the two faction leaders if you want to add them in, you will need to edit it them though.

For a second I thought the Advent were coming but then I saw the word "King" in the title and my hopes of becoming a slave to a hot psychic woman were crushed.

Ceresa may not simply be evil though, remember the fallen were all created by the titans and yet we have a few, probably more than we have seen, that are willing to work with others that are not fallen to try and bring order around.(The fact that we have Procipiniee of all people willing to help the fallen if they accept her leadership would show that they are not totally ruined and irredeemable.)
Thanks Polistes, you clear some of my doubt.<

1. That girl that is in the temple is the fallen enchantress. The reason he was sent to look for that girl is to see if they could prevent the rise of a sorcerer based empire. 2. Ceresa hates Relias so much because he did not listen to her warnings to leave her alone, and instead he turned her into the enchantress. 3. The rock Giant is Ceresa's golem. She sent it to kill relias. 4. For the purposes of this story yes only relias is interested for now,

How about having a unit limit instead? After all you can only get one dragon, three or four ogres.... Maybe three juggernaughts is good enough?

I personally like the watch tower for the fortresses, free catapult for the win! (Even if they are not researched yet.)

I was going to try and make some starting position ideas on stardock's image of the world of elemental , but the descriptions of where some cities are located (example Hagudst) are too vague to pin down. Not to mention black stead. The good news is there is plenty of start locations for custom factions in the central wastes and "unknown" areas for the western side, and for the east the southern end of the continent occupie

I love the shadowbolt and Dirge of Ceresa.... those are nasty when you get them leveled up by using them frequently. Both have gotten me out of some nasty situations. Oh and don't forget the "Kill" spell. That is dangerous man.

It would be nice to be able to grant political asylum to your allies/friends if they are totally getting owned. Here are some general outlines before the ai would be willing to accept an asylum offer. 1. Relationship would have to be close or allied. 2. The number of settlements is down to one, or zero. 3. The faction would have to be at war with one or more people. If the enemy accepts the Asylum offer these things happen 1. They suffer a
