There is going to be a limit of one farm per faction that can use darklings. This way it should be balanced and prevent too much slow down. I also got to figure out how to make it so you can choose to either build the "farm" or the camp. It will be awhile before it gets released.
Large map, normal pace. I dont have issues with the goodie huts but they should not be all lined up next to eachother, its not "realistic" so to speak, you should have to go looking for them. I also generally dont research adventure tech until I am well established so they do pile up.

I think thats done on purpose so they sovss dont "spoil" the story for the reader.
Well After reading Elemental Destiny's Embers, I was inspired to make a darkling farm. (These are not in the book but since Nym ate a few I figured it would be cool to try and add something similar) If I get further along this building can be built in place of a darkling camp(You will have the choice to pick between the two however. Are the silly messages that you need to declare war on X both X and X can do this. Seriously its annoying AND sometimes it pops up so fast after doing other functions that you end up declaring war on someone you did not want to. Such messages are best left at the diplomatic table, not when you are out managing your empire. Also the AI needs to take into account your relationship with the faction they want you to attack, mainly the AI has been wanting me to kill off my own allies, or c

Legit critques of books are not smear comapaigns however the reviews Brad's books have been ge tting have been far from legit, however with awareness that has been raised I am seeing more balanced and fair critiques, somethging that everyone benefits from. Also for a first time wqriting a book its surprisingly good. As he gets more practice I am sure the future books will improve as well.
I agree all the factions behave the same, and none of their leaders have a personality, this needs correction down the line.
