LOL@ people thinking a truly great mod can come out so soon after a games release... truly great mods take years to complete... A great example is Cold War Crisis for C&C General zero hour it took at least 4 years if I recall correctly and it is one of the best most realistic mods for that game out there!

I like this idea! Now I can have my Ice Queen actually "get married" without men XD WELL done! Must be a shocker for the other kingdoms though... Oh and pics of your hot female leader please :D
You only get Destinys Embers content if you buy the book. [e digicons]:d[/e] [e classic]:hot:[/e]
I lost everything too :P I am not making any more custom stuff until the game is done being updated like that.
The Death Legion.
Yes the Death Legion are demons in the sense of the word, but I am talking about demons as in the classical art context*15 through 19th century concepts* (Typical horns, hooves, and other "typical" demon traits) like your angels, which appear to be based off of the classical art era.
Ok now that we have a stereotypical Kingdom of angels we need a "stereotypical" Kingdom of Demons... though they dont necessarily have to be stereotypically evil or corrupt.
I dont really consider that a "drawback" I always wanted to summon a fertile land tile for an ally in need of food. :)
Cant you use the mechanic like the demon gate or dragon roost, where it needs to have a special structure built with in a certain distance to a city before the unit can be trained for that city?
Unfortunately I've run into a significant modding issue that is going to delay these unique units indefinitely. I want to limit these units so they can only be trained in the capital city, however, there's no way of doing this, without having them appear in every other city's t
Quoting Rune_74, reply 57 I would love a spell that raises the dead on the battle field to join you... There are no undead in Elemental. Our challenge is to create new interesting creatures and archetypes without dipping into typical fantasy tropes. I love that Elemental doesn't have skeletons, elves and dwarves. But I understand when people ask for them, they want flavor, they wa
Very nice, anyways throwing in a request for crests for The Brotherhood of NOD, GDI, and the Scrin!
I will do LOL but seriously they need to just make a tech tree creator like the faction creator for us simpletons like me.
I got it to work LOL guess use mods got turned off LOL how silly of me. :( Though the umberdroth tech is not showing... weird. I give up LOL this is way to much of a pain in the ass, I will just set my faction to use the base amarian techs. Again thanks for all the help!
I use notepad too LOL Still fiddling with it, I dont know what my other thing to view it is being so fussy about. Everything looks right.
Invalid at the top level of the document. 1. ^
Way too much like Civ 4 if you ask me.
How come you had to do all that extra work? Should that not simply be sorted out just with the basic tech tree code? And what do I use to upload files? Edit: just tried and no luck my XML editor says there is an invalid at the top of the the sheet, anyways its gonna take me an hour or more to find it since errors like that are subtle and hard to find. Anyways thats beside the point. Thank you very much for putting in so much time and effort into this! :) I really appriciate it.
What I did was take the base tech tree add something to it then as you stated renamed everything to my custom race. I also modified my race to use this as well with no luck. As for the logo I am not interested in that yet, I got to get this very basic yet complex thing working first LOL
DisplayName, ShortName
On that note I am trying to modify the umberdroth as well but the abilities are not showing.
Umberdroth_OnHit SoundPack_Warg1 Umberdroth 'My lady is gone but her vengeance rings true
I made a custom tech tree for my faction and then linked my faction to it, but all I get when I research is a blank buttons. Can anyone point me to what I did wrong. Here is the tech tree code. (For ease of reference I just removed the dancing with dragons and the third race and replaced them with the umberdroth tech.)
</p
Heres a good one one of the random events in Galciv II is a losing faction sacrifices millions of its people to something called the telenannth(Spelling) This crystal also plays a huge role in Elemental lore so there is yet more proof that this game exists in the GALCIV universe.
Short answer yes this game happens in the GAlCIV universe, the Tandis in the book is the same Tandis that helps you defeat the Dread Lords in Galciv. You can also draw a conclucsion about which faction the altarian resistance comes from. ;)
Diplomatic capital helps you deal with the Ai on a "cheap" basis and also acts as a positive modifer that makes the AI less likely to declare war on you. Its a great concept.
Anyways I was wondering how do the ambassadors work? I read that they generate diplomatic capital for you but I train them and I dont get any diplomatic capital increase. In order to get a steady stream of DC I need a scenic view.
Well Procipinee told me that she, Irane, and Ceresa will be posing in the next issue of Playboy Elemental version... other than that I have no idea and who reads Playboy anyways?
I just marry my ugly kids off to Magnar or whatever they are called and keep the pretty ones for other factions. :P
Where are these spells located? I cant defend my empire without them. :( *Obviously this is for the beta version*
