Anyway this game should be getting fixed up by now. does the champ have to be within a certain distance of the spell? After that i changed my play strategy, i rush city building and getting my ZOC blocking entry to my cities, try to bottleneck them so they only see one city in the beginning, then go from there (expand out when they declare war, set up a second defensive line just in case, etc.

its Debug.err in (assuming you have windows 7 or vista) Documents/My Games/Elemental I think they want you to upload it or some crap like that, but I dont want to go creating any more random accounts anywhere, have enough of that crap all over for work.

so i was playing my first game with the AI on hard, was neck and neck with an empire with 5x my score, basically turtling and expanding inside myshell getting ready to push back, when bam volcano on my capital city and one of my two metal producing cities, completely destroyed the one and put my capital back to nothing..... on one hand i was like, huh, good for you ai, your improving, i mean i wasnt going to use any poopy spells on you, but hey, you go girl....

when you crash 20+ times a day... it gets tedious. If even a small percentage more of the people that own the game started sending their logs by making it quick and easy, like windows does (that statement is almost oxymoronic), seems to me like that would be to everybodies benefit.

I love how random my start location can be in relation to other resources, though it would be nice if there was an option specifically alter how good spawns points are for everybody, occasionally i like to start sweet.

I have to admit, i did like the campaign and was disappointed when it ended (liked teh story). But to be honest you arent missing much, in fact, if you only play the campaign, your missing out BIG time ;). I would agree with the above, if its that buggy, scrap it until they have the core bugs and mechanics worked out, then add it in via episodic content or something.

So as i tend to mention alot, i crash, all the time. I want to help you fix it, BUT, I'm insanely lazy, i dont want to click on a ton of crap to copy and paste dumps to the website, hell, as a paying customer i shouldn't have to even worry about crashes ;). But I LOVE this game, its addicting, and I tend to just restart the game and keep playing, i can have 10+ crashes in a sitting until i lose patience. So here's the deal, as mentioned, I'm lazy, if you want me to post my dumps to th

Reply to Demo ETA? in War of Magic

hopefully not on 1.1, cause then the demo will crash lots and lots for you.... like the real game does for me :P. I would imagine they are waiting till the game is at least stable to release a demo.

they could place a new city right next to the mountains, then as their ZOC grows lower the mountains. If the buffer is really wide, then place a new city, etc. I'm pretty sure that you can build new cities in an enemy ZOC when at war, though i havent tried it...?

SO im borrowing the game from a friend who has the ultimate disc to decide if i want to buy, but of course cant update and register since its already registered to his account, its version 1.93, is there much difference between that version and the most recent (2.03)?

i bought distant worlds a while back and was gifted the expansion, its good and its bad...... very hard to explain properly why, i read someone in an other thread say that galciv2 is like playing a spreadsheet, I highly doubt its as much like one as DW though, but DW has the largest playing field ever (up to 1400-2000 star systems i think), with 1998 graphics, decent AI, and some of the best automation ever, you can run the empire barely touching a thing and just getting asked a couple questi

50 bucks is definitely something to me (money is tighter than a constipated midget..... it was funnier in my head), and correct me if im wrong but on impulse its 30 bucks for dread lords and then 30 for the bundle of both expansions? so are you saying to wait till i can find the entire set for 20 dolla's? edit: Im not a huge fan of demo's.... in my experience they rarely give a proper, realistic, taste of the game
