i cant even find an update available to me :/
no, i mean where did you get 1.19... its not showing for me on imp.
um, where???!!
eww, a troll puked on the boards again, nasty!!
I'm willing to bet money they didn't intentionally mean to limit mod downloads and once they are made aware of the issue will remove the block.
I am not sure if this is suppose to be a joke or mocking. Either that, or I am missing something. Is this to make fun of Civ V with an I win button and lock of choices, so how it can be called a strategy game? Yes I am feeling under the weather. What am I missing here? I did think it was funny though.
not mocking at all :). When the announcement about Jon was made, there was an upheaval of cantankero
Disclaimer: If you are one of the many people upset about Jon's joining Stardock, then please exit this thread now. I would prefer not to have you all get your panties in a twist; this will probably hurt your feelings to some degree or another..... I ran across this and immediately thought of you and your humorous post from when everyone was whining about you joining the team. http://www.newgrounds.com/porta
Hell yes.
my bad :P, i couldnt see the city (no pun intended) and assumed it wasnt ;) I'm totally going to play angels and make mountain top cities!!
Its stuff like this that has me hooked to stardock now, for better or worse (for the rest of you:)) you go froggy-poo!!
lol, is it?
fyi, noticed AI Angels building a citiy in the ocean between two pieces of land, couldnt attack it till they built up ont the land. thanks again
Quoting TheRayster, reply 57Cursing is just poor judgement in all scenarios. It does not matter if it was intended to be offensive. Only that it was perceived as offensive. Think along the same lines as sexual harrassment. It does not matter that you didn't think it was offensive. People just need to be civil in all cases, and respect each other. If you couldn't say it to your moth
Fuck that sideways with a box of tapirs. I haven't felt the need to swear on this forum, but I'll goddamn do so when it is appropriate (such as now) and thank stardock kindly for not being douchebags about the occasional four letter fandango. I'd rather people said stupid shit left and right than the forum be filled with mindless droning on, like CFC is these days. Heavy handed moderation has exactly one result, a
@Fistalis you played savage 1 or 2? similar to what you just wished, they are a bit dated, and not the best games ever, but were pretty fun :)
Sheesh online games lately are so horrid. I think it'll be another nine years yet before something interesting comes out.
couldnt agree with you more!! Though im hoping/praying/sacrificing-cute-animals (JK) that planetside 2 is good, i loved the first one!
this is the most complicated sandbox space game ive ever played, but i love it, there are a crapload of mods that add to the fun factor as well, and as others said, it will take a long time a decent effort to learn it, but its very rewarding :)
i may or may not have played beta and it may or may not have felt like a crappy mix of CoH hero building and UI and Tabula Rasa's fps-like aiming and control.
that makes sense (for the special units). how does armor work in this game? Ive noticed it can give me a signifigant advantage over my opponent, but is it a straight damage-armor modifier, or percentage based? re angels, i can see what you mean, since they can attack so quickly, you essentially have to spread your forces out more, meaning, possibly, smaller armies that they go up against each battle? They would be at a signifigant disadvantage on the defensive though, a
first of, thanks again for all the hardwork you put into this mod :). i wanted to comment on your achievement list, number 3, ho can they remain useful for the entirety of the game and not remain strong? seems almost oxymoronic. Also, i was thinking, i played angels a couple of times but due to the size limit put on their groups stuck with elves. but it seems like that may be a bit imba, if you take equal equipment, and put a max angel army against a max army of
if id known the cutoff for the expansion being free was 12/31/10, i would have bought it a day earlier :/ lame
I notice that when I look at other kingdoms/empires, they tend to have between 50-70 guildar production per turn. I usually have 1-3. Not a -clue- how the AI always has 50+ guildar coming in per turn. Even when I out-tech them by 'yes', I just can't keep up with the armies they can field with infinite gold.
i had noticed the same thing, and figured out it was a combination of them having more cities and trade route
ewww, i couldnt even play galciv2 ultimate for more than 20 minute!?!? And this, despite all the crashing, in the last week or so ive had it.... ive played a TON, it needs improvement, but its getting better, i had to reinstall windows and thus reinstall EWOM, for giggles i tried it out before patching, having only played 1.11, i started laughing so hard..... its night and day dif than it was, night and freaking day.
then dont make it automatic, just make it ask if you want to send an error report after a crash and give you the option to see what your sending, it would be EXACTLY the same as we do now, only we dont have to go 1jumping through a binch of stinking hoops including opening other accounts elsewhere to give them the stinking file.
Quoting WhiteElk, reply 6...a PS EDIT: It doesn't help ones productivity to come across reports titled as "Heres your damn X" Attempt to put yourself in their shoes. But failing the experience to adequately do so, simply think of them as a fellow human being. That counts both ways. I don't like the tone of the OP, but having a Dilbert strip to back me up makes me pretty sure I'm not the only old-school
