Im in the same boat. Cant play this game as it is broken for me. So far money I spent isnt worth the game. Just waiting on the patches...
I would like to see the NPC that you can hire, join your cities permanently. That way, if a merchant gives you +1 gildar, you could add that to the city production. This would make the buildings that increase a cities output more valuable. I'm having the problems that I have 6 cites, but only 3 of them I actually use the improvement buildings, cause they are the only cities with resources beyond materials, or iron. But I h
I can't currently play the game due to performance issues. I mean I seriously have a piece of software I cant play past 200 turns. But I am going to hold out and hope for the best.
anyone notice how slow ships move too? moving ships around the map takes forever - the boat animation is so slow!
to echo the poster above me - you have great ideas but a ton of content. I would recommend narrowing down the scope of the mod to its necessary essentials. At which point you can always add to it. If you take on too much too fast you will become overwhelmed and the mod could seem unfocused. Good luck
great to see a compiled list such as this! Thanks so much. If even half of the improvements are implemented would be a great change
Community needs to support this - good job.
so there is no other option to purchase age of wonders shadow magic other than through places like ebay or amazon?
Question, Does the mod automatically alter the game or do I need to load it within the game? If so - where? Or do you download the mods within the folder in program files or in my games? I have two directories of the game UPDATE: well i have checked Use Mods in options - but still doesnt work
Please hire this guy.... devs read this thread please

Devs constantly tout how modders will improve the game. I want a finished game from the devs - not modders.
Amazing. I never had a change to play MoM. There is so much missing from elemental. Makes you wonder where the MoM devs are nowadays? What did they move on to?Seems like a lot of smart people worked on MoM
bump for supporting tactical battle love. As of right now tactical battles consist of my mouse clicking the auto-resolve button.
Also speed up tactical battle animations.
Alot of topics about city building lately. Here is one by Progress check it out - we need all the ideas we can get out there! https://forums.elementalgame.com/393581 There are alot of good ideas in this thread but some seem unreachable in the near future and some seem like easy fixes. Let's narrow it down to something that maybe is more reasonable for the dev team? I also agree how I have
Cities in Master of Magic made a lot more sense. The rate of growth depended on different conditions. And the population were treated as a resource in that you could allocate them more toward farming, or toward manufacturing/production.
Right now I don't even pay attention to my population. Does it matter? I just go about my business building anything and everything I need. It would be nice to start seeing
I concur on many points and want give my wish list as well MAGIC TECH TREE : Magic Tech tree is kinda barren. I feel like I get all the spells anyways so why research into magic? Why not have the majority of spells only unlockable through research?? Then you would definately feel motivated to research Magic. And what if you could focus on different schools of magic, fire, ice, wind etc with
Good ideas. I agree with the whole idea of trying to eek out an existence in awakening world and revamping city building What if the "city" started out as a camp with very basics. And through your questing and recruitment you were able to increase its size. I mentioned somewhere else that city building seemed boring because you have to build every building eventually so it takes no thought or choice. Right now I just spend my time exploring the world looking for resource

Gamespot basically says the same thing as PCgamer but in a much more professional level-headed manner http://www.gamespot.com/news/6274610.html
All I know is about turn 200 the game slows to an unplayable crawl. End turns lag, takes forever for units to move, scrolling the map is choppy and my system is shiny nice too.
Just shows you how this game was never really beta tested.... Different compartmental mechanics were tested but the game as a whole never was. Otherwise things like this would of been balanced and so many other things... You post this thinking your are cool but really your just "gaming" the game. Finding the balance loopholes and flaws in the game design. AI needs major work, so many mechanics need polish and balance. Not sure how anyone can play
