Maybe they should add a toggle for EB that drains HP/Mana. When active, he has the chance to create minions, at the cost of his own life (I like HP better, goes with the whole vamp thing...). When not active, he doesnt lose anything, but he doesnt create any minions either. Lets say every minion costs 50hp at low levels, and scales up. EB can stack health with the best of them as it is, and its not like ooze is considered crap because it does the same thing (Constantly

You either need to install the beta/RC and upgrade later, or wait till october 22, when its released. RTM is for MSDN and technet subscribers only. I've heard (And Vista worked like this) you can just input your retail key into your RC version, and it will extend the license past march. The only downside is you may have some beta/RC leftovers. I imagine a lot of that will be patched out, but you may also miss out on some goodies that retail ships with that RC didnt.&

One little change I'd make with the OPs suggestion would be to make gold earned from kills a set price. Say 1000$. This way, early kills mean as much as late kills. As a modifier to this, make DG levels scale the amount of gold you get. Maybe 10% per level difference. A level1 DG killing a Level1 DG will get 1k gold. A level1 DG killing a level5 DG will get 1500 gold, and a level 5 killing a level1 will get 500 gold. What this does is add

I'll do it if I have a high mana regen item. Sure, they might just heal it back before they get into combat, but they might also be down 100+ HP when they fight too, and I've survived fights with less then 100 HP. Other then that, its the annoying factor. I'll usually "pick on" one player with my random snipes, hoping to piss them off or bait them into mines/gang fights. Usually it doesnt work, but occasionally it does. Either way I dont see a problem with it*.

ZehDon: I paid as much as you did for the game. I'm not going to leave because you dont like my opinion of Demigod, Frogboy's stance on the community, or the online play. I wont beat around the bush either. Demigod has potential. It could be a great game. It should be a great game. Unfortunately, it isnt. This is The developers(GPG/SD) and the communities fault. As I said in my initial post, Frogboy gets paid to work on this game.&nbs

I have to agree with Muus on this... If Frogboy doesnt want to involve himself in Demigod, when he gets paid to work on it, then why they hell should I have paid for it? It might be the communities fault that the online play is crap, but its also GPG/SD's fault that it got so bad. They could ban, they could have added/removed features that cause issues, or they could just ignore it and cut their losses... I know for a fact, when I contacted Relic about some iss

I dont think this is needed. Carrier spam is annoying as hell, but nerfing SC to nothingness isnt a good idea either. As for these small ships blowing up giant caps, think of any modern day attack aircraft or even WWII torpedo bombers. The Yamato was sunk fairly easily by torpdedos, and any modern day carrier/ship is easy picking for a harpoon. What keeps these aircraft at bay are fleet defenses like Aegis crusiers. We need a better AA type of cruiser, and AA o

Even if it wasnt a new item, a different model or outfit for people with achievements would be nice. Dawn of War 2 had a system like this where you unlocked capes and other crap for your troops. It didnt change gameplay at all, but it did allow me to flaunt my level a little. They could throw in a couple goofy items too, like a gold crossbow for Reg (Gold lancer, like GOW2), but make these items a 1 time use till you get the achievement again (win 10 games, get gold weapon,

Most people I know that pirate games do it because of the cost and quality of games lately. Demigod is actually a good example of this. I paid 40$ for a game that was not ready for release. I saw it at gamestop, liked the box, the fact it was 40$ (Most new are 50$) and thought it was unique. Now, a month or so later, the game is finally patched to a mostly working version, and only needs a few tweaks. Now, most game companies would have left the game in the mes

I dont think I should be able to deny you a purchase. If this is to fix priests, why not just fix priests so they arent useless. Now, I would love an option to split the cost of a purchase like this. I dont want to give team mates money, but if I could buy 1/2 of a purchase, and my mate payed the other, we could get a useful upgrade, and both get cheaper items, without someone sacraficing items for the good of the team.

What if all options were available for purchase at the start (still going in order) but when you reach the next warscore rank, you get the unit upgrade for free (Giants would be at 11, priests at 5). They would need to tweak some of the costs, but you could rush troops and upgrades, or level your DGs and let the warscore unlock troops for you. This way, flags are still important (who doesnt want +20% HP/Mana?) and it allows troops to still play a large part in the game.

I dont think tower upgrades from the cit upgrade Rook towers. Atleast, I never noticed them getting better even after investing in the upgrades.

Minions should level with your DG, in addition to the picking of their skill. A Sedna that goes full yeti has to give up so much else she gimps herself. A level 10 Sedna with level 2 Yeti means the Yeti are crap. If the Yeti would scale in relation to the DG, and the Yeti skills gave them smaller buffs but allowed more, and gave some abilities, the DG minions would be awesome. I'd give each DG minion a buff that was applied after a certain level of their skill.

It depends on the enemy DG. A Reg or UB is going to autoattack more, so armor+HP is better. A TB is going to magic you more, so +HP only is better.

My only complaint would be the 15th's expiration. It wasnt clear that it actually expired on the 15th at 12:01 or whatever. They could have worded it a lot better.

A "Too the Death" award should be given to the losing team that stays the entire game. This can give some favor to losers and help noobs level the playing field a little. Right now its a slippery slope, where good players get more favor, so they get better gear, and get even stronger to start the next match, where noobs get crap for losing and only more discouraged. Long term, its better for the multiplayer if all players had access to all gear.

A variation in call ins could help this IMO. Make the game less linear, and more RPS(Rock-Paper-Scissors) when it comes to creeps. Give 3-4 trees of creeps, and let you either pick one (Like heavy armor but slow, flying but weak, fast and ranged, etc). This would give each time a chance to play to their and their armies strengths, instead of every game being the same linear tree. Another option would be Creeps that negate each other, but exclude other opt

What if Currency 2 gave a discount to consumable items and a decrease in gold the other team gets from kills(creeps). Currency 3 could give a discount to all items, and a further drop in kill gold. This way, a team could focus on early preists and currency because feeding the other team wouldnt be so drastic, and late game you could still catch up on items because their cost was lowered. It could also encourage team work, since a team could focus on army/cit upgrades in

I wish Angels were a little more effective too. Maybe 4 of them would be better, or they need a 25% dodge chance. I also would like to see exclusive creep trees. Something to mix it up so it isnt always the same thing. Maybe one that focuses on seige and air, and another on slow heavy armor, and another on faster ranged units.

What if Yeti's had a +1 healing wind aura per level. 2 of them wouldnt be much, but by level 4 you'd have 4 of them doing +5 each. +20HP/sec isnt bad, and the healing combined with Sedna's would help keep an army alive that much longer. They can also adjust the aura some if +1 isnt enough, but we dont want it too high.
