It looks like they can be from what i am seeing in the XML files. My next problem is that I want the players movement number to be random each turn. It will always at least be 1 so the player can move 1 tile. So I would have the starting sovereign have a movement of 1. He moves to a tile. his movement is increased or remains the same randomly. He then moves again and his movement is reduced to 1 with a chance of it increasing or remaining the same. Etc. Etc.</p
I am trying to make a map that is akin to a board game. On this map there will be tiles where, if the player lands on them, something happens. I know triggers will do this, but I need to know if it is easily possible to make a trigger permanent and repeatable so that the trigger will happen each time the space is landed upon and if anyone would know where I need to look to cause this to happen.
I really love the capabilities of the modding aspect of this game. However, I don't think we are seeing the true potential of juts how vast the modding could be. I know that frogboy has said that they actually had an internal working Ultima type game running. While i know that this can't be released for obvious reasons, I would love for an example of how to do an RPG game to be released. Even if it is just a bare minimum thing.
Guys, I am blown away at how much better this is. I haven't spent long with the beta yet, but my initial first impressions are pretty damned positive. MUCHO better so far. Definitely headed in the right direction.
I just checked it. It got stuck on the wand icon when summoning a critter without me ever going into any menu.
I did not open the options menu that i recall. Unless going to the save game menu counts perhaps? I havent had a chance to play again (wife, kids, work, jiu jitsu) but I will try that and see if it triggers it if it doesnt do it again. Will have time tomorrow (Wednesday).
So... anyone know if this is a a known issue or not? It's very frustrating. If it is just me, I would like to try to find a solution.
In short, the cursor doesn't change its states properly. And this occurs at various phases within the game.

I'd like to see a small example of turning the game into a CRPG. . . especially since you mentioned a Ultima mod a while back. I know that can't be served up, but a small example of how it can be done (CRPG) would greatly intrest me.
I think the best thing they could do ASAP, while they continue to patch the game and fix things, is open up the modding as soon and as much as possible. I'm talking Python stuff here. . . where WE have access to the AI and whatever else possible. If nothing else, the game can quickly be turned into a modder's dream and just as War Craft III, Never Winter Nights,Star Craft II, Half-Life, Etc Etc have shown. . . the communities can make some incredible things. After a tactical battle, if I have to level up, the cursor will remain a move cursor. Clicking on the points to allocate to abilities requires finding a sweet spot.
I have also experienced the cursor still being the move cursor. i can usually get it to respond to point selections though. But it requires me to find a sweet spot.
I have also noticed the font getting messed up on cards. There was a caravan moving through my territory... it wasnt my territory until my land expanded in a turn and when I hovered over the caravan, the text was unreadable on its card. it was like there was some funky white text bleeding over the top of the normal text. Hard to explain.
Dunno if these have been listed already, but i don't have the time to sift through to see. What i have experienced so far: 1) Sound stops working in Tactical battles except for music. No attack sounds. 2) Tactical battles will become non responsive. For instance, I had a summoned bear who was right next to an enemy.
