1. YES 2. OR: Just have sets of armor instead of friggin piece by piece? Of course then you might be able to enchant only one piece of armor per soldier since it's expensive later on? ALSO: Havn't actually finished recruiting anyone in a game (Was recruiting a troop of armored guys (200 days) but I would like if the population was reduced per person trained.

I built a middle size road from 2nd to first city and it worked fine. Then I built a HUGE road from 2nd city to 3rd city. I believe it froze/crashed my game. Also I have to say (Dont think I have anywhere) that the damn map is just beautiful (At work looking at the pic above reminds me).
Also then make sure there's a 'sentry' mode, etc that will only make them pop-up for movement if an enemy approaches, again they've done this before but each game is different.
http://worthplaying.com/article/2009/9/18/news/68578/ Sounds like a good lil strat game, but I'm at work so cant' d/l it..someone go play it and report! " Empires of Steel uses a simultaneous turn-resolution system, better known in gaming as „We-Go“. You can form alliances, capture and trade precious resources, research new technologies, and of course form huge
I think it's a waste to do much except for a few crash/graphic bugs till there's actually a 'gameplay skeleton'. But at least you're having fun! (Oh, graphics, crashes, alt tab, and the save/load bug).
It's for farms.
Sometimes you shouldn't even get loot, and sometimes you should get good loot from poor fighters, and sometimes it should do a stat check!

I'm already sort of confused, I thought the shards would give essence, not mana, so now im wondering how one gets more essence (Other than leveling/special items?). -Also as for OP idea, maybe research where you can cast a spell to change a mana shard's alignment, or somewhat easier, just change where the power is going but only get 1/2 of the normal mana from said source.
I believe this is true over all systems, if anyone HASN'T had this bug in some form I'd like to know. Probably just not put in yet? No clue
I also like the way the zoom works, how it zooms in toward the curser that is..
Ohh, can click drag map? I've been zooming out then zooming back in where I want to go.
I have to say, if you don't have email yet you best email their customer service peoples.
I'm really happy you're here for when we actually have real gameplay. Just don't spend more than 40 hours a week beta-testing, SD doesn't like to pay overtime.
Also some buttons, aka research and others of similar size, are pretty small in higher resolutions. (Or maybe tiny period).
4. Costs essence.
Try to load like 10-20 times, I'd be surprised if one didn't work (I mean re-start the app every time too). Also might be good to see the different error logs for one that works and doesn't.
Actually I started the game in 1024 or whatever it starts in and my desktop is 1680 or whatever widescreen, so it's something else (Although could be those parameters and hardware). EDIT - t obe clear, have never had splash screen not come up.
Doesn't always happen on save, can happen on start as well. So it's a general bug. I had it in my first game, so didn't even realize anything was wrong, heh.
Ok thanks, I'll check when I get home.
Logically roads should be VERY important for getting resources not found around those hidden citites though. Also I think the organic trade route could def be in with the way roads are built.
I'm at work, I mostly worked on starting games, graphic errors so I didn't 'play' much but I built a couple of shard/temples in my one sorta game, but I didn't see any changes or additions to my essence, etc. Anyone do anything with them, they not in, or bug for me?
Check the email you used to order it. Also..plenty of bugs to go around! ..I'm sort of happy I'm at work so they don't keep attacking me.
Yeah I have a lot of scroll bugs, like others have posted. Not scrolling, scrolling when I'm not at edge for a bit, scrolling a little in a random direction when not at edge, and scrolling in the wrong direction all together when at edge.
